Graignamanagh Bingo
Bingo is on again on this Saturday 1st October, last month was a very poor turn out and if we don’t get enough support we will have to stop, this is a fundraiser for both the Abbey Hall and the local Brownies and very little money is made once the prizes, books and other bills are taken out, we can’t afford to run even one night at a loss. Please support and spread the word, tell all your friends. We do enjoy doing this and know it means a lot to so many of you. Thank you for your support.

Dogs Strictly Prohibited from Dr. Tierney Park.
There is a major problem which has significantly got worse recently in relation to dog fouling in the pitch. There are children and adults playing and training in the field and one child recently slipped into dog excrement. It has become a regular occurrence to have to clean up the pitch before games and we wish to advise the public that walking dogs is strictly prohibited in the GAA Grounds and we would thank everyone for your assistance on this in advance. We will be monitoring the situation closely from now on.
Well done to our Junior Hurlers on a good win in the 1st round of the JHC last weekend in Gowran. Scoring 2.11 to Cloneens 0.12 was enough to see us through to the Qtr finals where we will meet John Lockes of Callan. No doubt this will be another step up and we will need to put in a massive effort to overcome the Callan boys on Sunday 9th Oct. A full match report can be read on the Kilkenny People.
Results: JHC: Graignamanagh 2.11 V Cloneen 0.12
