Parents of Pre-Academy Cadets:
The last day for Cadets to wear their Civil Air Patrol uniform was Tuesday, 22 April 2014. Cadets will need to turn in their Civil Air Patrol uniform on their assigned day the week of 19-20 May 2014 during their class period.
The assigned days are as follows:
6th Grade – 19 May 2014
7th Grade – 20 May 2014
8th Grade – 19 May 2014 Day 1 Cadets
20 May 2014 Day 2 Cadets
ALL UNIFORMS MUST BE TURNED IN DRY CLEANED (TO INCLUDE THE FLIGHT CAP), AND STILL IN THE DRY CLEANING BAG(S) WITH RECEIPT ATTACHED. ALL LOOSE ITEMS MUST BE IN A GALLON SIZED ZIP LOCK BAG AND LABELED WITH YOUR CADETS NAME.
**Cadets who are attending IN Wing 2014 Encampment or who make special arrangements with either Capt. Henderson to keep their uniforms and/or Civil Air Patrol Books will have special instructions for accounting for their items**
The following items must be turned in or you will be billed for replacements: blues skirt or pants, blues shirt, flight cap, two rank insignias, hat device, name plate and your Cadets Civil Air Patrol Binder with their 2 Leadership Volumes and 6 Aerospace Module Books.
If your Cadet has misplaced or damaged any of their items, a check for the replacement value MUST BE turned in on the day that your Cadet has uniform turn-in. If a Cadet fails to turn ALL items, replace damaged items or dry clean their uniform in on their turn in date the Cadet will receive a score of 0 of 200 points in addition the Cadet will be assigned after school detention ending at 5:30 p.m. until the Cadet has turned in or replaced all items. If on the last day of school the Cadet has not satisfied their obligation a bill will be forwarded to the business for collection. In addition, that Cadet will be required to wear their AF Blue uniform on the Tuesday after school is back in session.
