  1. Program Overview
  • Organized In-House program that focuses on regular practices to develop skills and fundamentals and regular games for fun and competition.
  • Coordination with Upper Dublin, aka Crooked Crosse Lacrosse Club, for game days only.
  • Teams for In House League
  • 1st / 2nd - Primarily arrange by elementary school
  • 3rd / 4th - Even teams through evaluations / draft
  • At 3rd & 4th grade, 15 – 20 ‘eligible’ players will be selected to compete in an additional Sepyla travel schedule on Sundays.

  • Assistant Coaches at both 1st/2nd & 3rd/4th Grade
  • Webmaster for Wisslax
  1. Necessary Equipment
  • Helmet – Last name on front of helmet
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Gloves
  • Elbow Pads
  • Protective Cup & Mouth Guard
  • Rib Pads – Not Mandatory
  • Lacrosse Stick – Can be cut down to 38”

  1. Practice Schedule
  • 1st & 2nd Graderpractice begins Wednesday March14th 6-7:30pm at LowerGwyneddElementary School (lower field by play ground)
  • 3rd & 4th Grade “normal” practicebegins Wednesday March14th 6-7:30pm & Friday 6 – 7pm at LowerGwyneddElementary School (upper field)

  • Game Field is at Germantown Academy Sisters Fields
  • 1st & 2nd Grade plays from 8:30 – 9:30 am
  • 3rd & 4th Grade plays from 9:30 – 10:30am
  • Rules of Games – On Wisslax Website
  • PLAY DAY: April 28,
  • 2 hours of play (3 – 30 minute games)
  • 1st – 2nd Grade 8am – 10am
  • 3rd & 4th Grade 10am – noon
  • PLAY DAY, May 19 - 1st & 2nd Grade with Conshy Program ???
  1. 3rd & 4th Grade “C” team (Optional)
  • Most advanced 3rd & 4th graders to compete in SEPYLA travel schedule
  • Selection process will take place based on playing ability observed at evaluations on the March 3, 4, 10, and evaluations throughout season.
  • Games take place on Sundays; schedule will be released when we get it
  • Additional practice will take place immediately following intramural game.
  • ALL C TEAM PARTICIPANTS MUST PLAY IN INTRAMURAL GAMES ON SATURDAYS.

  • Liberty Tournament, June 10 – Wisslax will have 2 teams
  • Team 1 – Selected 10 Wisslax players to compete with 10 Upper Dublin Players in the A division
  • Team 2 – 20 Wisslax players to compete in the B
  • Cost: $35.00

  • Collective Meeting with Upper Dublin to review Intramural Coaching
