RATES AND TERMS • EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2015

Members:

Full Time - 5 Days a Week

School year$1000.00 per month

  • 3 days or afternoons$690.00 per month
  • 2 days or mornings$460.00 per month

Part-time space is only available with a partnering family. A 15% administrative fee is charged on member fees to determine the part time fee. Part-time is based on space availability and is not guaranteed as a long-term option. Part-time enrollment is the responsibility of the two (2) partnering families involved to make sure that the space shared is a full-time space. Should a partnering family leave the Daycare, the remaining family is responsible for the full-time rate until a replacement partnering family is found.

Terms

  1. Fees are due on the first day of each month.
  2. Post-dated cheques for the twelve month period are requested at the time of enrollment.
  3. Monthly fees include all statutory holidays.
  4. A late fee of $5 per day will be charged on past due accounts.
  5. A fee of $48 will be charged for each Not-Sufficient Funds (NSF) cheque or PAD payment.
  6. Notice of withdrawal must be given to the Sunnyside Garden Daycare Centre in writing at least four

weeks prior to withdrawal.

  1. If a child is absent without notice for longer than four weeks, they are considered withdrawn from the

Sunnyside Garden Daycare Centre.

  1. Toronto Children’s Services guidelines and Sunnyside Garden Daycare Centre policies will apply for

families receiving subsidies from the City of Toronto.

  1. Fees are established annually (generally in the spring of each year) by the Sunnyside Garden Daycare

Board of Directors and are communicated in writing to parents/guardians with a minimum two months

notice.

Sunnyside Garden Daycare Centre is a community-based daycare open to all families in the Garden Avenue Public School catchment area. The Centre is governed by a Board of Directors of parent volunteers. The Board of Directors is committed to fairness, equality and quality care that includes a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment for children within a culturally diverse community. Comments, concerns and requests are welcomed and will be addressed by the Supervisor and/or the Board of Directors as required.
