Welcome

  • AYSO’sVision : To provide world class soccer programs that enrich children’s lives.
  • The Mission:
  • Everyone Plays: Every player plays half the game they are there for.
  • Balanced Teams: Each year teams are formed with the skill level of each player in mind.
  • Open Registration: Programs are open to all children who want to play soccer.
  • Positive Coaching: Encouragement and enjoyment leading to better motivated and successful players.
  • Good Sportsmanship: Striving to create a safe, fair, and positive family environment based on mutual respect, rather than a win and all cost attitude.
  • Player Development: We believe that all players should be given the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both as individuals and team members, to maximize the enjoyment of the game.

Safe Haven

  • All Volunteers, anyone that interacts on our fields with the players, are registered, screened and trained.
  • It is for promoting education and awareness
  • For All complaints, please wait a minimum of 24 hours before speaking, calling, texting and emailing the coach or board. We appreciate your position on things and are happy to listen and help with any issues for the betterment of our kids.

  • Code of Conduct:
  • Support your Child: Encouragement and interest in our child’s team goes a long way.
  • Always to Positive: Lead by being a role model. Example, always cheer for good plays for both teams
  • Remember you child wants to have fun: let them establish their own goals.
  • Reinforce positive behavior: help to achieve their goals and overcome natural fears of failure. No one likes mistakes but its apart of learning.
  • Don’t be a Sideline Coach or Referee

Our Park

  • Dunham Manor Park: 65 Hollywood Dr. Whitesboro
  • 25mph down the hill to the park
  • 5mph in the park
  • It is a Town Park but more importantly Our Park!
  • We most respect the rules and keep the park clean
  • No Pets in the park or on the soccer fields.
  • Service Animals are not considered Pets and are welcomed at our fields always.

Equipment Needed

  • All Players must wear shin guards: covered by socks, age appropriate soccer ball and water
  • U4 to U8: Size 3 ball
  • U10 to U12: Size 4 ball
  • Cleats are not required but recommended.

Practices and Games Days

  • First Practices the week of April 16th with team coaches
  • First Games U4 to U12 are April 22rd
  • First Professional Coach Clinics, by our SDA East partners, the week of April 23th
  • Have players at the fields 15 minutes prior to the start of games and practices ready to play
  • Check with your coach about any help that can be given to assist them in their efforts to have a great productive season
  • Make sure they have the appropriate contact information and that is up to date on ayso.bluesombrero.com/327
  • Mass emails do go out from Whitestown AYSO and Blue Sombrero. Please check your Spam Folder if you haven’t been receiving them. If you unsubscribe from the emails, you will not receive important information about our seasons and programs.
  • Professional Coaching Clinics for all Players!
  • Paid Referees at all U10 and U12 games!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

  • Uniform Coordinator
  • U5 Team’s Coordinator
  • U6 Coaches, Boys and Girls
  • Field Setup Help, including line painting and game day goal setup

Picture Day: May 6th

  • Link to order online posted. Paper forms will be handed out by coaches
  • Please plan on attending for team photos, even if you are not ordering player photos

Whitestown AYSO’s Games to Benefit The Ride for Missing Children

  • U10 and U12 Boys and Girls
  • May 12th for the Boys
  • May 19th for the Boys
  • Looking for Raffle Basket Donations and Volunteers for days of events
  • All earning for the event go directly to The Ride!
  • We will have t-shirt and cheer sticks orders for Ride shirts for all players ?
  • Please join us to cheer on the Riders on June 1st

New Changes for the Upcoming Spring 2018 Season
