Confused by all the different internet outlets your children are exposed to and a part of? Concerned about navigating the internet and protecting your children? Join us for an eye-opening and informative seminar on Internet and Social Media Safety onThursday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m.in the MPR.
Keynote Speaker: Ron Ippolito, Educator.
New Infinite Campus Messenger System
Our new system allows us to send automated messages by text, voicemail, and emails. You may receive messages if your child's absence has not been cleared, reminders for meetings, and other important communication. It is important that you please listen to the message thoroughly before calling the school.
Lost & Found
We have an overflowing bin of jackets, sweaters, and lunch boxes. Our Lost & Found center is located on the outside stage area. Please sign-in at the office before proceeding to the Lost & Found area. All items will be donated to charity over the winter break.
Small items such as glasses, jewelry and keys can be claimed in the front office.
Prime Time Instruction
Uninterrupted instructional time is critical in the educational process. To help promote best learning practices, we will not make phone calls or disrupt the classrooms during Prime Time. Any articles to be delivered to children should be left in the office. "Prime Time" instruction is from8:15 a.m.to lunch recess.
Attendance
Please contact the school office if your child will be absent or arriving late as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you, we are required to make contact with you if your child (ren) does not show up for school. We have a very large student population and your prompt notification will reduce the number of calls that we have to make every morning.
Please r call the office at661-294-5385.
Please feel free to leave a message on the voicemail if you are calling after/before office hours. Be sure to let us know your child's name, child's teacher, specific reason for absence (cough, cold, out of town) and date of absence. Thank you very much!
Any child who is absent or arriving late needs to be reported to the attendance line. Reporting to your child's teacher does not ensure that your child's absence will be cleared. Please remember to notify us by8:30amon the morning that your child is not in class for morning attendance.
**Helping your child develop a positive attitude towards going to school prepares him/her for a successful future**
