Inform the candidate what is essential and what is desirable – this can be taken from the person specification, just include the main few criteria to attract interest

  • Include the shortlisting and interview dates
  • For further information please contact ………. (Include names and contact details)Please provide a contact name, telephone number and email address and ensure that the named contact is available during the time of the advert being live and is expecting the contact.
  • Include a positive action statement if appropriate – such as:
    The College /School currently has an under-representation of …………..and we would particularly welcome applications from men/women for these positions. Appointments will be made on merit.
  • Any logos required by the funding bodies if appropriate.
