for themilk carton planting…children enjoyed making their window sill planters

Flower Show-Arline Guthary-a success appreciate all everyone did-flower show schedule needs to be updated, we have the new book from National…horticulture needed more room…Sandy read the Thank You card from Arline to the Club for their hard work in preparing for this show.

Dallas Arboretum Field Trip-Sandy Alexander-5 members Pansy/CCMG attended…saw lots of beautiful flowers; plant sale was a bit of a disappointment

Thank you letter from Whispering Oaks Nursing Home for the donated bird seed.

Grant update-Jean Carriker report on file for Noble Foundation, Merrick Foundation, Community Foundation…members must make an effort to contribute money…Crutchfield will donate$3,000 toward the $10,000 challenge if members will help raise the rest of the money.

Correspondence report from Pat Neasbitt cards/flowers sent…plant to Cindy Rubin in the death of her mother.

President's report-

1.Emergency decision about hot water heater, called Sheehy Plumbing to replace

2.Light sensor replaced by Denny and this should take care of the light burning all the time

3. Dean Sheehy and Mark Stevens fixed the sprinkler system and set the timer…

comes on Tuesday and Thursday at 2 a.m.

4. Donations by members helping with building appreciated

Arline-lawn clean up of sweet gum balls; members for donations of lilies

5. Present officers will continue serving for 2010 as presented in September 08 meeting

Rentals-Teri Sheehy---building rental information contract found on the web site. Active Members after 1 year may rent for $25 Sun.-Thur.; $100 Fri. and Sat. Everyone fills out a contract, found on the web site…contract states the use of the building
