Course Description

Over the course of the year, students will be taught a variety of dance styles. Within these units, we will be covering proper technique, style, artistic expression, history, dance vocabulary, and musical elements as they relate to dance.

Semester at a Glance

During the fall semester, P.E. Dance will include units on jazz, hip-hop, tap, and ballet. Spring units will include modern, world dance, theatre dance, conditioning for dance, and choreography.
