Ask voter to sign petition to nominate Michael Padilla for State Senator:
If person signs, please thank them and remind them that the primary election is June 3, and provide them with the small flyer that your Site Campaign Coordinator will have available. The flyer has some great information about Michael Padilla, and other important facts.
If person does not want to sign petition, ask them if they are a registered voter. If they say no, please help them fill out a voter registration card, then ask them to sign the petition. We will mail the voter registration card for them, and turn in the petition once the voter is registered. Please give them the flyer with information about Michael Padilla.
If person does not want to sign petition at all, please thank them and offer them a flyer.
If person does not want to sign petition or take a flyer, please thank them for their time and move to the next person.
If person asks a lot of questions and you believe they may be interested in volunteering please introduce the person to your Campaign Site Coordinator, who will collect their information and attempt to find out what they would be interested in doing for the campaign.
If person is willing to have a yard sign placed in their yard please ask the person to circle the number next to their name on the petition document, and let them know that we will bring the sign to their yard and place it for them when signs can be placed.
