Mission: Page Street Elementary is a family of learners who strives to meet the individual needs of children in a rigorous and respectful environment and, in turn, allows everyone to experience the joys of learning, self-discovery, success, and acceptance.

Minutes:

  1. Celebrations – 5th Grade with Starbase/Reading Counts Banner/Heritage Day with Kids/PTO active/Reading Counts Celebrations established/students meeting behavior and expectations , Fitness Club starts this week
  1. Calendar: Completing MClass (23 Sep) and I-ready (29 Sep) data this week, interims due next week, Data Days Oct 11 (2-hour block), Star and Troy Heritage Day
  1. Review SIT plan: Team took the SIT plan and made corrections/recommendations on blown up SIT plan. Team will take back to their team and then bring to PLCs. Will present to staff during meeting on 26 Sep for final staff approval.
  1. Reviewed that data is being imported on the shared drive for grades to take back to PLCs to create intervention groups. Some students still completing diagnostics and MClass will be included once assessments are finished. Reading and Math goal team will meet to discuss interventions and objectives next week.
  1. Discussed PBIS celebrations with brag tags: Will have dance celebrations during each grade level special for those students that have met classroom expectations. First celebration will be 4 Nov. Brag tags can be turned in for prizes: Right now, on Friday’s (10 – wear a hat; 20 – bring in stuffed animal or suitable object; 30 – each lunch with a friend from another class; 40 – office helper; 50 – wear pj’s).
  1. Transportation changes: Getting in routine. Will send a student to pick up class bus pass if there is one, but office will try to deliver. Thanking teachers for efforts.
  1. Other Discussions: Earbuds: Students are needing earbuds. Will get with Ms. Starnes as to whether they should buy in office or in classroom. Panther Pack will have first celebration on 29 Sep.
