Each school year brings NEW things and this coming school year (2016-17) won’t be an exception! Online Registration is what is NEW(District Wide) this coming school year!! In order to close out the 2015-16 school year, we need your HELP and COOPERATION! The date to begin MANDATORY Online Registration is MAY 9th. ALL RETURNING KG – 5TH GRADE STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED ONLINE BY MAY 23RD. If you already have access to your Parent Portal, you are ready to get this done! If you DO NOT have access to your Parent Portal or to a computer or laptop at home, below you will find a schedule of opportunities to come by our school to use our computer labs. Please keep in mind that if you have students scattered at other SISD campuses, you can register them all at once. You DO NOT have to go from school to school. You can log on from home and do it at your own pace. However, if you don’t have access to a computer, then please feel free to come by to use our computer lab at the designated time indicated below. We will have personnel on board to help you get this MANDATORY registration done. Remember that it is CRUCIAL that you get this done as soon as possible in order to secure a spot for your child in the upcoming school year (2016-2017). Cada año escolar trae cosas nuevas y este próximo año escolar (2016-17) no cera una excepción! Lo NUEVO el próximo año escolar será “Online Registration” (Inscripciones vía Internet). Para poder cerrar el año escolar 2015-16, necesitamos su AYUDA. La fecha MANDATORIA para empezar a inscribir a los estudiantes vía internet, es el 9 de Mayo. TODOS LOS ESTUDIANTES DE KINDER A 5to DEBEN SER REGISTRADOS VIA INTERNET PARA EL 23 DE MAYO. Si usted ya tiene acceso a “Parent Portal”, usted ya está listo para inscribir a su estudiante. Si no tiene acceso o no tiene una computadora en casa, debajo se encuentra el horario de oportunidades donde usted podrá venir a la escuela para usar nuestras computadoras. Recuerde que si ustedes tienen varios hijos y están en diferentes escuelas del Distrito Escolar de Socorro, usted puede registrarlos a todos a la misma vez. No tiene que ir de escuela a escuela para inscribirlos. Usted puede inscribir a sus estudiantes en la privacidad de su casa. Pero si usted no tiene una computadora en casa, los invitamos a que vengan a la escuela para usar nuestras computadoras. Aquí tendremos personal disponible para ayudarles. Recuerde que inscripciones vía internet son EXTREMADAMENTE IMPORTANTE para asegurar el lugar de su estudiante para el año escolar 2016-2017. Muchas gracias por su tiempo y comprensión. HOW TO DO ONLINE REGISTRATION?
STEP #1: Access the Parent Portal
The Parent Portal can be accessed from the District’s website (www.sisd.net) or by each individual campus’ website.
STEP #2: Tyler Parent Portal
You will be directed to the log in screen.
(Language Setting- there is a globe on the right corner of the screen. By clicking on the globe, you will be able to adjust the language setting if need be.)
STEP#3: Online Registration
Once you have logged in, you will see your child/children’s name on your Parent Portal. Click on ‘Update Online Registration’ to begin the registration application process.
STEP #4: Online Registration – Continued
Click on the first ‘edit pencil’ to begin the process.
Please pay close attention to the instructions at the top of each page. These instructions will tell you exactly how to “SUBMIT” and travel to the next page.
Your electronic signature will be recorded by checking off the box at the bottom of each page.
STEP #5: Online Registration - Continued
Once you have completed all the forms, your status for each form will say ‘COMPLETE’ and a window will appear asking if the forms should be submitted. Click OK.
STEP#6: Online Registration – Confirmation Email
An email will be sent to you confirming your submission. Please be watchful for a second email that will notify you whether your forms have been accepted or declined, including any additional instructions necessary.
¿CÓMO HACER EL REGISTRO VIA INTERNET?
Paso #1: Acceso al “Parent Portal”
El “Parent Portal” se encontrará por medio de la pagina web del distrito (www.sisd.net) o en la página Web de cada escuela individual.
Paso #2:” Parent Portal”
Se le dirigirá a la pantalla de registro. (Ajuste de idioma-existe un globo en la esquina derecha de la pantalla. Al presionar el globo, usted podrá ajustar el lenguaje de programación si es necesario.)
Paso #3: Inscripciones vía Internet
Una vez que haya iniciado su sesión, verá el nombre de su hijo(s) en su Parent Portal. Presioné en “Actualizar inscripción” para comenzar el proceso de solicitud de registro.
Paso #4: Inscripciones vía Internet – continuó
Presioné en el primer 'lápiz de editar' para iniciar el proceso.
Por favor preste atención a las instrucciones en la parte superior de cada página. Estas instrucciones le dirán exactamente cómo guardar la información y como seguir a la siguiente página.
Se registrará su firma electrónica al marcar la cajita en la parte inferior de cada página.
Paso #5: Inscripciones vía Internet - continuó
Una vez que haya completado todos los formularios, su estatus para cada forma dirá 'Completo' y una ventana aparecerá preguntando si deben enviarse los formularios. Presione en Aceptar.
Paso #6: Inscripción vía Internet – Correo Electrónico de Confirmación
Un correo electronico se le enviará para confirmar si su inscripción está completa. Favor de estar vigilante por un segundo correo electrónico que le notificará si los formularios han sido aceptados o no, incluyendo cualquier instrucción adicional necesaria.
