PAARC Chapter House Scavenger Hunt (Mini-drill)May 19, 2005

The purpose to of this drill is to familiarize volunteers with the layout of the chapter house and the locations of materials that might be needed in various disaster situations.

Ground Rules

1.  Teams must remain together at all times.

2.  All team members must be able to answer questions about chapter house locations and materials after the conclusion of drill.

3.  Teams are honor-bound to answer all questions by direct.

Questions

1.  How many fire extinguishers in the chapter house have outdated or no inspection tags on them?

2.  Where is the chapter ROH located?

3.  How much does the chapter charge for hot dogs at fund-raising events? (Hint: It’s on a sign to be posted at such events.)

4.  Which chapter vehicle has a panic button on its key?

5.  In how many different locations are toys for disaster relief supplies stored? Of which brand of toy does the chapter have the most?

6.  What is under tab “7” of the chapter disaster response plan?

7.  What is the total count of copies (“Total 1”) made on the photocopier to date?

8.  What is the title of ARC brochure #4499s (hint: it’s in tray “H”), and what does it have in common with disaster services form #5972s?

9.  What is stored against the wall opposite the chapter disaster relief poncho?

10.  What is the purpose of ARC form #4612?

11.  Name 3 types of disaster service Community Services supplies stored in the garage.

12.  Collect one item for each team member from the table in the conference room.

13.  How many smoke detectors are there in the chapter house?

14.  What is the “DSHR System Redesign Tool Kit”? When might you use it?
