Dear Area Business Owner,
We say that we are a “gift to the community, made possible by the community” and here is why. Crossroads House is a non-profit, two-bed Comfort Care Home that provides 24-hour, 7 day a week care in a home-like setting to residents of Genesee, Wyoming and surrounding counties who have been diagnosed with three months or less to live. Our services are completely free of charge to our residents and their families. We do notreceive any medical insurance reimbursement or governmental aid. The funding for our home is based solely on memorials, donations, fundraisers, and grants. Since 1998, Crossroads House has had the privilege to care for over 420 residents.
It costs Crossroads House approximately $670 a day to keep our doors open. By utilizing mostly volunteer resident care as well as house upkeep and maintenance, we keep our paid staff to a minimum and focus our resources on dignified, compassionate care for the dying.
On the reverse side of this letter are ways in which you can partner with Crossroads house. We always make sure we give something back in exchange for your partnership. New to this year’s Business Appeal is the option of spreading your gift over 5 equal monthly payments or continuing the tradition of the one-time payment option. We too are a business and understand that some months find us on different financial footing. We rely completely on the generosity of the community to fund our mission. With the partnership of local businesses, Crossroads House will continue its quality end of life care in our community. We appreciate that many of you already partner with us throughout the year with donations for our other fundraisers.
