Student Council Report: / Joseph Meikle reported that the fundraising efforts of the Blue Asthma day was a success
Principals Report: /
  1. As Daniel was unable to attend the meeting, Libby spoke on his behalf. The school would like to thank the P&C for their contribution in the purchase of the “spider web”, the kids absolutely love it and the older class really appreciate it. The P&C also thanked the school for their contribution.
  2. On Tuesday the Mayor will visit the school to officially open the playground. Any P&C members are welcome to attend.
  3. The environmental excursion is on Monday, the kids will learn how to care for our environment in a variety of activities.

  1. Daniel suggested that we look into using the company Harlequin for the purchase of school bags. Upon a small deliberation the P&C voted unanimously not to go ahead with the company.
  2. Kylie wanted to see if anyone had any ideas for music for the comedy night entertainment. We discussed the possibilities of either live music or a DJ. Kimberley will look into a DJ in Kingaroy and Ngaire to look at options in Murgon. Come back at the next meeting with the information.
  3. Raffle donations have been coming in and we thank you to all those who have contributed. We still don't have any accommodation for the raffle. Shona offered to investigate her contacts at Elements on Coolum.
