IMPORTANT: Gynaecology 2ww referrals and Colposcopy:
Patients are being referred on a 2ww pathway to colposcopy inappropriately which is causing problems. The document here indicates which patients should go where and the priority for the referral.

REMINDER: Gender Dysphoria data request:
OCCG is discussing with LMC commissioning a service to carry out the initial and on-going prescribing and management of patients within Oxfordshire. We need more detailed information from all practices to support this.
We are very grateful to the 31 GP practices who responded to the previous data request in the
GP bulletin in January. This established the approximate cohort size but doesn’t provide detail on where the patient is within their journey.Please see the attacheddocumentfor a detailed request for more data by 17 April 2018.

Do you have an opinion on Primary Care IT?
We recently published the Primary Care IT Roadmap, which you can find here. So that we can make sure that it continually aligns with the needs of primary care services, we are setting up quarterly feedback meetings. The first one will be at 1.30pm on the 1 May. It will be held in Jubilee House, Oxford, however we will also have the option for you to dial into the meeting through a conference call.

NHS England launches further dedicated mental health services for veterans:
NHS England has launched the NHS Veterans’ Mental Health Complex Treatment Service, further expanding the range of dedicated care and treatment for those who have served their country.
The new local community based service is for ex-forces personnel who have military attributable complex mental health problems that have not improved following previous treatment.
Patients using the service will benefit from an enhanced range of intensive care and treatment that may include (but is not limited to) support for substance misuse, physical health, employment, accommodation, relationships and finances, as well as occupational and trauma focused therapies.

Oxford Genomic Medicine Centre (GMC) launches a new website:
The Oxford GMC is an NHS partnership led by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, working to improve the understanding of the genetic causes of cancer and rare diseases by helping to deliver the 100,000 Genomes Project.

Cruse Bereavement Care talks in Oxford:
Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies.
Please see attached herea leaflet outlining a series of eight talks that are being held in Oxford. The talks are intended for professional and voluntary workers who work with bereaved individuals and families and sets out to deepen awareness of the complexity and extent of bereavement.
