In order to ensure that your journey to and from United Grand Lodge of England is as comfortable as possible, the organising committee kindly ask for your co-operation as follows:

Outward journey to United Grand Lodge of England:

i.  Please arrive at your allocated pick-up point not later than 20 minutes before the booked departure time of your coach. (You will receive notification of this departure time well in advance of the day).

ii.  Upon arrival at your ‘pick-up’ point please liaise with the ‘Coach Stewards’ who will record that you (any anyone travelling with you) are in attendance.to confirm your presence.

iii.  Remember to have your event ticket with you at all times.

iv.  Your seat number on the coach and at UGLE will have already been allocated and details of both will be clearly displayed on your event ticket.

v.  Each coach will be identified by a sign displaying the Area No, Coach No & Hall name (e.g. ‘A3/2 Middlewich’ will be Area 3 – Coach 2 picking-up & dropping-off at Middlewich Masonic Hall).

vi.  Please ensure that you (and where appropriate, all members of your party) are on-board your coach and seated in your allocated seats not later than 10 minutes prior to departure. Seat numbers have been allocated on a ‘first come-first served’ basis (per applicant/party) and not by Lodge name/number.

vii.  Complimentary Tea & Coffee will be available during the journey, however, please note that these supplies will not be inexhaustible.

viii.  WC facilities will be available on each coach.

ix.  If you need any assistance during the journey, each coach will have two ‘Coach Stewards’ on-board.

x.  There is a strict ‘No Smoking’ policy on-board enforced by the coach companies, which also includes ‘vaping’. Please ensure that you comply with this policy for the comfort & convenience of everyone, (there will be a ‘comfort break’ at one of the motorway service stations en route to UGLE).

xi.  Please note that your ‘pick-up’ point at UGLE may not be the same as the ‘drop-off’ point. You will be informed during the outward journey where your ‘pick-up’ point will be.

Return journey to Cheshire from United Grand Lodge of England:

i.  Due to the traffic flow & limited parking in the streets surrounding UGLE please exercise all due care and attention not only for your own safety but also that of those around you.

ii.  Please ensure that you have liaised with the ‘Coach Stewards’ for your specific coach and that you (and where appropriate, all members of your party) are on-board and seated in your allocated seats not later than 10 minutes prior to departure.

iii.  Complimentary Tea & Coffee will be available during the journey, however, please note that supplies will not be inexhaustible.

iv.  WC facilities will be available on each coach.

v.  If you need any assistance during the journey, each coach will have two ‘Coach Stewards’ on-board.

vi.  Once again, please ensure that you comply with the ‘No Smoking’ policy during this journey. As with the outward journey (there will be a ‘comfort break’ at one of the motorway service stations en route back to Cheshire).

Seating at United Grand Lodge of England:

i.  For all those attending the Prestonian Lecture there will not be any seat allocation within the Temple. Please follow the directions of the Stewards and sit where directed.

ii.  For the 2nd Degree ‘Passing’ & 2nd Degree Tracing Board, seating has been allocated and details will be clearly displayed on your ticket. These details will also be re-confirmed by the presence of an identification label affixed to each seat within the Temple. As per the coach seating, the seating in the Temple has been allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis and not by Lodge name/number. The organising Committee earnestly hopes that every Brother and members of his party will see and use this as an opportunity to make new friendships during what will be a truly unique and ground-breaking day.

Sincerely & Fraternally.
