PRESS RELEASE

A Team of P.S. Alipur Outer District Delhi has arrested two desperate high-way robbers involved in a high profile robbery with jeweller.

With the arrest of (1) Umesh @ Lala S/o Ishwar Singh r/o H. No. 136, Pandit wali gali, Village Singhu, Delhi. (2) Rohit @ Roky S/o Raj kumar S/o H. No. 131, VPO-Singhu, Delhi a Robbery case reported vide FIR No. 565/14 dated 15.06.14 U/s 392/365/34 IPC PS- Alipur, Delhi has been solved by the staff of PS- Alipur Outer District.

INCIDENT

On 15.06.14, a PCR call in respect of robbery with jeweller was received at police station-Alipur and same was entrusted to SI Jaibir for necessary action. On that call SI Jaibir alongwith staff reached the spot and met to complainant. Complainant Manish Kumar S/o Sh. Avdesh R/O H.NO. B-37 Jawahar Nagar,Devli Road khanpur,Delhi alleged that he is working as a salesman at Annesh jewellery shop. Surender Gupta is owner of Aneesh Jewellers shop. Manish Kumar had gone to Patiala alongwith driver Virender and two other salesmen for selling 9-10 kg silver and diamond jewellery. On dt. 14/06/14 when they were returning to Delhi by car No. DL 11CA-3316 (SUNNY) and reached near Singhu, a car No. DL -9CW-3333 SONNATA HYUNDAI black colour came from behind and stopped their car and after threaten, Silver and diamond jewellery worth more than one crore was looted from his car. Accordingly a case was registered and investigation taken up. Looking at the gravity of the case a dedicated team P.S. Alipur was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Jitender Singh SHO Alipur and overall supervision of ACP/Alipur.

During the course of investigation ownership of offending vehicle was obtained from traffic Unit and registered owner of offending vehicle was identified as Umesh S/o Ishwar R/o H. no. 136, Pandit wali Gali, Village Singhu, Delhi. Accordingly, search was made at said address but he was not present at his home. Later on CCTV footage of Border Camera’s were also checked and as per father of Umesh both accused were identified as Umesh @ Lala and Rohit @ Roky.

During the search of accused as well as robbed articles on 15.06.14, offending vehicle was intercepted by PCR Van. But both accused were fled away from the offending car after left the robbed jewellery items in the offending vehicle. Jewellery items and offending vehicle was taken into police possession and same deposited in Malkhana of PS Alipur. On 26.06.14, on the instance of secret informer and mobile surveillance both accused person was arrested from Singhu Bus stand, Alipur by the team of PS-Alipur.

INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION

During the interrogation it is revealed that accused Umesh @ Lala is previously also involved in four cases. He disclosed that he do not have any job for earning money. Due to heavy expenses, he wants to easy money. On that day he alongwith his associate namely rohit @ roky reached at High-way with the intention to robbed some one. In the meanwhile, they stopped one car and robbed their articles and cash. After robbed that person, they fled away from the spot. After that they reached at jungle Mukhmailpur and checked the articles. Next day as per planning, they were going to sold the robbed articles but one PCR Van chased their car. Due to that they left the vehicle with robbed articles on Singhu Border road near Sec. A-5 chowk, Narela and fled away from the spot. Further investigation in the case is going on.

NOTORIOUS AUTO LIFTERS ARRESTED AND

02 STOLEN TWO WHEELERS RECOVERED

With the arrest of two auto lifters namely Gurvinder Singh @ Sunty and Abhishek , the staff of Police Station Khyala has recovered two stolen vehicles.

1.  Gurvinder Singh @ Sunty aged about 23 years s/o Harvinder Singh r/o B-1/145, Vishnu Garden, New Delhi is bad character of the area of police station Khyala. His brother namely Harpreet Singh @ Hunny is also bad character of the area and was involved in 12 criminal cases. Presently, he is in jail. Gurvinder Singh @ Sunty studied upto 6th class. Presently, he is doing the job of a driver with a known business man of the area.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

On the night of 26/27.06.2014, a team comprising of HC Sudarshan, Ct Jai Bhagwan and Ct Rajender was doing picket checking at Ganda Nala near Paschim Vihar crossing. During checking, they noticed the suspicious behavior and movement of two persons riding on one blue colour pulsar motor cycle No. DL-6SZ-7013. On verification, motor cyclists Gurvinder @ Sunty and Abhishek could not produce any document related to vehicle. Ct Jai Bhagwan, immediately availed the facility of auto match and found the vehicle stolen from area of PS Moti Nagar vide FIR No. 571/14 dated 25.06.2014 u/s 379 IPC. Accordingly, they were taken into police custody and the stolen vehicle was also taken into police possession. On personal search, one master key was recovered from the possession of Gurvinder Singh @ Sunty whereas one plas was recovered from the possession of Abhishek.

On sustained interrogation and they have confessed to have stolen another discover motor cycle from the area of PS Hari Nagar. The said vehicle was also recovered at their instance. On enquiry the vehicle was found stolen vide FIR No. 640/14 dated 16.06.2014 u/s 379 IPC, PS Hari Nagar.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

On sustained interrogation Abhishek disclosed that his father is not alive and he has a habit of consuming alcohol and drugs. Firstly, he started committing theft in his own house. On 31.03.2014, his mother Smt Bindu informed the local police that his son Abhishek has stolen washing machine from her house and sold to someone. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 293/14 dated 20.4.2014 u/s 380 IPC was registered at police station Khyala and he was arrested in the said case. Later on, he was released from jail and come into contact with Gurvinder Singh @ Sunty, BC of the area of PS Khyala. Gurvinder Singh @ Sunty disclosed that previously, he was involved in 04 cases. On sustained interrogation, accused persons confessed that they used to open the lock of motor cycles by master key and Plas (plier) was used by them for ensuring forcible movement of master key in the lock of motor cycles.

ACTIVE BOOTLEGGER ARRESTED

Staff of Police Station Khyala, West District has done an excellent work by arresting one bootlegger namely Kitty s/o Shivnath r/o WZ-16-A, Gali No. 13, Sant Garh, Tilak Nagar, Delhi and seized 430 quarters of illicit liquor from his possession.

Kitty aged 21 years s/o Shivnath r/o H No. WZ-16-A, Gali No. 13, Sant Garh, Tilak Nagar, Delhi is unmarried. He has studied upto study upto eighth class and doing the working as a labour.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

An information was received to Insp. Tanvir Ashraf, SHO/Khyala that illicit liquor is being brought to the area of police station khyala specifically during night. In view of the said, night patrolling was strengthened. During this course, staff was directed to keep watch in and around the house of known bootleggers. As per the briefing, on that night, HC Ram Kishan, Ct Kamal, No. 1005 and Ct Siyaram, No. 3275/W were present at the corner of N-Block, Khyala. At about 04:00 am, the said staff noticed that one boy is keeping cartons on the road near by the H No. 223, N-Block, Khyala. Accordingly, he was interrogated by the staff. But he tried to flee from the spot. On suspicion he was overpowered by Ct Kamal. His identity was revealed as Kitty s/o Shivnath r/o H No. WZ-16-A, Gali No. 13, Sant Garh, Tilak Nagar, Delhi. On checking of the cartons, it was found that cartons were full of quarters of liquor of NV Besto Whisky for the sale in Delhi. All cartons were for the sale of Arunachal Pradesh only. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 486/14 dated 26.06.2014 u/s 33/38 Delhi Excise Act was registered in Police Station Khyala and investigation was taken up by local police.

TWENTY FOUR CHILDREN RESCUED

FROM THE AREA OF SAINI VIHAR, MUNDKA, DELHI

The staff of Police Station Mundka, West-Distt has done a good work by rescuing twenty four children with the Help of Revenue Department, Labour Department and Bachpan Bachao Andolan (NGO) and Sh Daniel Masih, SDM Punjabi Bagh in case FIR No.313/2014 dated 26.06.14 u/s 370 IPC, 3/14 Child Labour Protection Act 1986 and 23 JJ Act, PS Mundka.

INFORMATION /OPERATION

On 26.06.14, a raid was conducted at different places in Punjabi Bagh, Saini Vihar, Mundka Delhi by the staff of Police Station Mundka comprising SI Nawab Khan and W/SI Annu under the supervision Inspr. PC Khanduri, SHO/Mundka and overall the supervision of Sh. Ingit Pratap Singh, IPS, ACP/Nangloi and with the officials from Revenue Department, Labour Department and Bachpan Bachao Andolan (NGO) under the supervision of Sh Daniel Masih, SDM Punjabi Bagh.During the rescue operation, twenty four minors were rescued from various premises situated at Saini Vihar, Mundka where they were working as labourers. A case vide FIR No.313/2014 dated 26.06.14 u/s 370 IPC, 3/14 Child Labour Protection Act 1986 and 23 JJ Act was registered at PS Mundka.

All the rescued children have also been sent to Child Welfare Committee (CWC), their rehabilitation.

INCIDENT,TEAM AND ARREST

On 26.6.14 Smt. Shivani Jain R/o Paschim Vihar age 23 years alongwith her sister were going to her house through a cycle Rikshaw. When they reached in front of Pragati Apartment Madipur Delhi, two boys came on a motor cycle and snatched her purse and ran away. In this process, they hit a TSR and left their motor cycle No. DL-8S-A, 3540 and fled away. On receipt of PCR call, the staff reached the spot. On verification, it came to notice that the one digit of the motor cycle was scratched and on further verification the original number of the motorcycle was found as DL-8S-AT 3540. On the statement of complainant Shivani Jain, a case FIR No. 505 dated 26.6.14 U/S 356379/34 IPC PS Punjabi Bagh was registered.

As per the directions of Inspr. Ishwar Singh, SHO/Punjabi Bagh a team comprising SI Pratap Singh IC PP Madipur, HC Balwan Singh No. 292/W, HC Narender 1658/W, Ct. Kuldeep Singh No.1446/W, Ct, Sujeet No. 1689/W & Ct. Sumer No. 2762/W overall supervision of Sh. Harcharan Verma, ACP/Punjabi Bagh was constituted. The owner of the motor cycle No. DL-8S-AT, 3540, Sh. Hasrat Miyan R/O 10-C DDA Flat Mata Sundri Road, New Delhi was contacted who stated that he has given his motor cycle to Irfan Safi @ Mona S/O Mohd. Islam Safi r/o RZG-49 Nihal Vihar Delhi. By the sincere efforts of the team, Irfan Safi @ mona S/O Mohd. islam Safi r/o RZG-49 Nihal Vihar Delhi was thoroughly interrogated who disclosed that he has snatched the purse of the lady with the help of his friend namely Naim @ kauwa S/o Nabbi Hassan r/o Gali No. 5, Prem Nagar Delhi. Both accused have been arrested in this case.
