Group Press Releases:

Ifyour group is planning an event, skillshare or are working on a project you might want to consider writing a press release for your local news media. This can be done to generate publicity leading up to gain an audience or following to highlighting success.

A picture tells a thousand words. If the event/activity is yet to take place, then think about a photo opportunity that can be organized for attending press photographers or to attach to the press release. Written photo permission needs to in place especially with children and young people. Supply the name of the photographer as well as details of who is in the photograph which needs to be in high resolution ideally.
