Boarding Contract

BOARDING CONTRACT

Catzis committed to providing first class care and attention for your cat. In the unlikely event of problems during your cat’s stay with us, this Contract, between Catz and the cat owner (hereinafter called "Owner"), whose signature appears below, describes the mutual responsibilities of both parties.

•In the event of unforseen medical or other problems, the Owner hereby grants Catz permission to take all reasonable and necessary actions to prevent illness or other injury to the cat. If your cat becomes ill, or if its state of health otherwise requires professional attention, Catz, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian or give other requisite attention to your cat and the expenses thereof shall be paid by the Owner. Catz will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Owner and/or the emergency contact prior to initiating any medical procedures.

•Catz shall exercise reasonable care for the cat delivered by the Owner toCatzfor boarding. Catz shall not be liable for injury to or the loss or death of the cat due to illness, accident or escape or any other cause. In the event that it is determined that Catz has been grossly negligent in its care of the cat, then it is agreed that the limit of Catz's liability is the lesser of the replacement cost of the cat or £200 (GBP).

•Owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date the cat is checked into Catz. All charges incurred by the Owner shall be payable upon pick-up of the cat.

•If the cat is not removed from Catzwithin ten (10) days after the stated pick-up date,Catz may, after giving not less than ten (10) days notice by registered mail to the Owner's address on Cat Registration form, assume sole responsilbityof the cat without prejudice to amounts owing to Catzand the Owner hereby fully releasesCatz of all liability with respect to the cat.

•By signing this Contract and leaving the Owner's cat with Catz, the Owner certifies to the accuracy of all information given about said cat on the Cat Registrationform, including any behavioural traits such as agression towards strangers. This contract is valid for all boarding at Catzuntil further notice.
