JOB DESCRIPTION
PRE-LOVED WAREHOUSE SALES CO-ORDINATOR
RESPONSIBLE TO:Pre-Loved Warehouse Manager
JOB PURPOSE
- Under the supervision of the Pre-Loved Warehouse Manager, to ensure the smooth operations of the Pre-Loved Warehouse, ensuring sales targets and key performance indicators are met.
- To work within the policies, practices and procedures as determined with the Board of the Ouseburn Farm Charity Limited and in liaison with Tyne HA Board.
MAIN DUTIES
- To assist the Pre-Loved Warehouse Manager in all aspects of running the Pre-Loved Furniture Warehouse
- To meet and greet customers, deal with enquiries via telephone, email and social media, providing a high standard of customer service
- To play an active role in all aspects of merchandising, including developing attractive displays within the Pre-Loved Warehouse and other outlets as appropriate, creating social media posts, and supporting e-commerce activities
- To retain accurate records of sales, deliveries and collections made from the Pre-Loved Warehouse
- Dealing with cash, card and electronic transactions, maintaining accurate records and security throughout, upholding highest levels of data security at all times
- To provide cover at the Pre-Loved Warehouse as necessary.
- To participate in outreach-based sales and promotions activities, including attendance at occasional weekend and evening events
- To undertake general housekeeping duties as necessary, including keeping the Pre-Loved Warehouse clean and tidy and maintaining an inviting environment for customers
- To support development and improvement of the operation, liaising with other strands of the charity and business as appropriate, including the Ouseburn Farm Workshop, Ouseburn Farm and Tyne Housing Association
- To undertake day-to-day administrative tasks as required, including laminating, photocopying and printing
- Assisting in loading/unloading of goods as required
- Such other duties as may be required by Tyne HA and the Ouseburn Charity Board, consistent with the job purpose
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Annual remuneration£6,240 per annum (actual for 15 hours per week)
Hours of work15 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with occasional weekend
working
Annual leave 34 days (including bank holidays) pro-rata
Notice Period4 weeks
All staff are employed subject to the successful completion of a six month probationary period.
Specific terms and conditions will be as stated in the Terms and Conditions of Employment document.
Supervision and direction will be provided by the Pre-Loved Warehouse Manager
