Youwillautomaticallybeallocatedaroleatmostmeetings. Thisisbasedon yourlevelofexperienceatToastmasters,andwillchangeregularlytogive everyoneanopportunitytoexperiencenewskillsandunderstandthedifferent roles.

Whatdoestherolerequire?

Can’tmakeameeting?

HelpouttheRosterPerson–thisisa pivotalroleintheclubandthelevelof workrequiredis influencedbyyouandothermembers. Planaheadandgive noticeifyoucan’tmakeameeting.

Lastminutethingsdocomeup,soifyoucan’tmakethenextmeeting contacttheToastmasterortheChairmanforthatmeeting(dependingon yourrole).

Ifyoucan’tmakethesecond,thirdorafuturemeetings,contactthe Rosterpersonandlet themknow. Theywill needto allocateyourroleto someoneelseandre-issuetherostertotheclub.

MentorProgram

Thegoaloftheprogramistoprovidesupportandhelpaccelerateyourskills withintheclub. Oncesomeoneismatchedupwithamentor,theprogram canbeasformalorinformalasyoulike(andofcoursethismaychangeas thelevelofexperienceincreases). Forexample:youmayliketomeetin

persononaregularbasiswithamentor,orsimplyhaveaphoneconversation ifandwhenadviceisneeded. Thisisdiscussed,agreedanddeveloped betweenyouandyourmentor.
