Our MissionTo work in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS)and the Sunshine Coast community to promote healthy living, empower and revitalise frontline staff and infrastructure by enhancing services through the provision of medical equipment, service support, education and research in line with local priorities.

Delivering Quality Frontline Services / Strengthening our public health system by increasing funds directed to equipment, education, research needs and the support of services / -Through regular funding rounds Wishlist empowers frontline health staff to deliver initiatives that help provide the best possible health care for local families
-Collaborate with the SCHHS to ensure funding is directed to priority needs and those beyond the scope of SCHHS responsibility
-Regularly provide information to the community on healthy lifestyle initiatives, with a view to preventing/controlling disease
-Each year achieve a minimum $1million spend on the needs of the SCHHS with research to be at least 30% of spend
-Ensure high corporate governance standards are maintained at all levels of operation
-Recruit and retain a skilled workforce to support the growing needs and objectives of Wishlist, ie fundraising and event management, marketing, commercial income, health promotion, grant activity
-Keep collective Board performance continually under review, ensuring overall strategic direction and achievement of organisational goals. / -SCHHS staff to be successfully targeted in marketing and communications strategy with demonstrated increase in awareness among Health employees
-Healthy lifestyle activity/illness prevention to be a strong focus of funding
-Demonstrate ability to grow commitment to needs of SCHHS each year
-Unqualified annual financial audits
-Finance, Audit and Risk Management committee to ensure Snr Staff and Board have a clear understanding of corporate governance and systems are in place to ensure compliance
Creating jobs and a diverse economy / a) Stimulating Economic growth and innovation and
b) building regions through Wishlist diversifying
revenue streams / -Evaluate opportunities for investment in land/space/enterprise in or near the SC University Hospital (SCUH) and other SCHHS campuses to sustain Wishlist’s increased spend on the needs of the SCHHS and also serve to meet the needs of the Hospital and Health Service
-Increase fundraising income through a best practice and sustainable fundraising model
-Effective articulation to local community of the benefits of investing in research, education and service development initiatives such as the growth of the Child Development Service and Music Therapy. / New commercial enterprise and alliances to increase operational revenue each year
Increase money raised from fundraising activity by 15% each year
Building safe, caring and connected communities / Building regions and encouraging inclusive communities by developingcollaborative partnerships with key stakeholders / -Ensure Wishlist has effective an effective communication and marketing strategy (to promote increased focus on education and research) to reach stakeholders, and to develop relationships with all stakeholders.
-Effective sponsorship development strategy to grow alliance partnerships each year
-Develop relationship with Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI) and it’s stakeholders including University of the Sunshine Coast
-Increase support provided to Gympie Hospital / Assess and review brand awareness and amend brand marketing to achieve targets
Develop hospital communications plan and “Grateful Patients” kit, and engage champions in key areas of SCHHS including Gympie
