Future opportunities and challenges

▪Changes in government policy make the UK a more challenging destination for overseas recruitment;

▪Potential for UK to retain and grow its reputation as a preferred TNE provider;

▪Political and economic instability alters patterns of mobility and threatens one or more recruitment markets;

▪Global and distance learning providers and developing TNE hubs in other regions reduce demand in UKHE;

▪Institutional reputation for maintaining academic standards or providing an excellent student experience is reduced and impacts negatively on our standing in overseas markets.

Strategic Objectives

To equip all members of our learning community with the skills and knowledge to contribute to global communities and networks.

To support our increasing range of international partnerships with effective TNE and progression systems and structures.

To develop innovative approaches to promoting and supporting the transnational experience of our students.

To develop a reputation for excellence that identifies us as a partner and institution of choice for individuals and institutions overseas.
