GO50 CYCLING: DEC-MAR 2014
Our programme of organised off-road riding. All rides meet 10am, start 10.15am and last approximately three hours. For your own safety and comfort please bring a bike suitable for off-road cycling. Wear a cycle helmet (strongly advised) and suitable clothing. Bring waterproofs, a drink and a snack. Ride lengths are between 10-20 miles. Grading: (1) = Easy, (2) = Intermediate, (3) = Challenging. Grade 1 suitable for those who have done some cycling. Rides suitable for Beginners are indicated in the programme. If you have any doubts about your off-road cycling ability, we recommend you try a Grade 1 ride first.

Thu 9 JAN: Witley Common (1) An easy ride suitable for beginners and seniors.Off road ride on all weather tracks across heathland. Meet Keith at the Witley centre car park - SU932407/ GU8 5QA. Southbound on the A3, take a small left turn after Milford signed National Trust Witley Centre. Or take A286 from Milford towards Haslemere & follow signs.

Wed 12 MAR: Richmond Park & the Thames (1) A ride out of Richmond Park to Mortlake Bridge then the Thames towpath past Kew. Mainly flat with a short section of busy road in the middle. Fri 14 MAR: Frensham (2/3) 16-18m Meet John J at Frensham British Legion (park at rear). Lunch at The Holly Bush (opposite), Shortfield Common Rd, Frensham, GU10 3BJ. Lanes & open spaces connected by quiet roads. Nothing too steep or technical, but a longer ride with some moderate climbs & descents.
