Our mission is creation of comfort and fancy shoes.

Every fourth pair of leather dress shoes, released today in Belarus, is footwear under the trademark of "BELWEST".

BELWEST is one of the most famous shoe brands not merely in the Republic of Belarus, but also in the CIS countries and in the Baltics.

Independent experts have highly appreciated "BELWEST" quality. It is confirmed by the victories in the contest "Best goods of the Republic of Belarus" (2002, 2004, 2006), "The best goods of Belarus on the market of the Russian Federation" (2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2012). "BELWEST" is the only domestic manufacturer of shoes, twice awarded by the prize of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for quality achievements (2002, 2005).

In 1988 in Vitebsk (Republic of Belarus) joint venture «BELWEST» has been founded by the oldest shoe European enterprises: German company «Salamander» and Vitebsk factory «Red October». Thus «BELWEST» has become one of the first joint ventures within the territory of the USSR. In 1989 the first pair of shoes has been released and in the end of 1991 the enterprise has reached its rated capacity 2,0 Mio pairs per year.

Today BELWEST is an international team of talented, energetic, creative people. Their business and working characteristics, responsibility and initiative are essential components of our activity. Today designers from Italy and technical experts from Brazil, Italy and Germany collaborate with our team.

In accordance with the standards of the SALAMANDER company five-stage system of production quality control is in force at our enterprise:

1.input quality control provides the thoroughgoing inspection of the all raw materials and components during entering the warehouse of the enterprise;

2.inspection in the workshops before processing the materials, quality of the materials has been checked аgain;

3.inter stage inspection during footwear production, when every operator controls work quality of the predecessor before making own operation;

4. inspection on exit from each workshop, specialists carry out a one hundred percent quality control of parts, uppers, semi-finished products;

5.and, finally, the most important quality control of finished products.

The highest level of JLLC Belwest's factory management is verified by the ISO 9001-2009 certificate.

BELWEST supplies its products for export to the following countries: Russian Federation, Republic of Latvia, Moldova, Kazakhstan.
