INTRODUCTION

We have been using the ladder from the time immemorial. All of us use ladder in our life and also the daily worker uses ladder in their work like in construction sites, building of houses, fruit picking from the trees etc. But there is no safety measures have been taken in the ladders that are available in the market place. There is always a risk of injury or a bad accident when the normal ladders used on an uneven surface, because on an uneven surface these ladder doesn’t properly stands. So I had prepared a model that removes these types of risks, because I had prepared self-adjusting legs in the ladder which adjust by itself helping the ladder to stand perpendicular on any uneven surface or even on surface with a low slant.

RATIONALE BEHIND THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EXHIBIT

One day when I saw a worker in a construction field doing welding. There was an uneven surface on the ground, so he was unable to adjust his ladder on the ground. So, I thought of an idea to make a ladder that can be stand on any type of uneven surface.

SOLUTION OF THEIR PROBLEM

My ladder contains self-adjusting legs that sifts according to the height or depth of an uneven surface.

MATERIALS USED FOR CONSTRUCTION

Wooden Strips, Nuts and Bolts of different sizes, Plywood, Wooden Boxes, Colours to paint.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE EXHIBIT

Wooden strip and nuts & bolts are used for making the basic structure of ladder and also plywood and other wooden strips have been used for making the self-adjusting system of the ladder. Plywood is also used to make foot of the ladder.

WORKING OF THE EXHIBIT

Let there be any uneven surface on the ground. Whenever HI-TECH LADDER’S leg is put on that uneven surface, a force is experienced by one leg making the ladder to move upward which makes the other leg connected with the first leg to move downward. Due to which equilibrium is set on the self-adjusting system which makes the ladder to stand rigid and perpendicular to the ground. The ladder contains four self-adjusting legs which makes the ladder to stand on any uneven surface. An extra locking system can be made on the self-adjusting system by which we can lock the legs after putting the ladder on uneven surface. It provides an extra support which even ensures for minimal disturbance in the ladder.

APPLICATIONS

  • It can be mainly use in construction sites by the workers who do welding works and electrical fittings.
  • It can be use by farmers and other people for picking up fruits and vegetable from the trees.
  • This ladder consists of two parts of ladder in which each part can also be used by labours in building of houses.
  • As the ladderstand perpendicular on low slant ground, so can also use by people living in hilly areas for doing daily their daily work.
  • Children can also use this ladder as it involves minimal risk of injury.

CONCLUSION

So this ladder shows that by using it a person is in minimal risk of injury due to any uneven surface. So this ladder proves to be a model in science and mathematics for a sustainable and safer world.
