You will first visit Kitaichi Glass and Otaru Music Box Museum where you can enjoy the sound of the orgel and twinkly light of the glass.

At the Kitaichi Glass, the time just flies by as you see colorful glass products such as crystal glass, oil lamp, tea utensil and soy sauce bottle.

The Otaru Music Box Museum has displays and sells a variety of the music boxes which has been collected since it was built during the time of Meiji.

15.00 pm: - Visiting Sapporo Beer Factory

The Genghis Khan Hall in its old glory is a red brick building with ivy climbing up the sides. Built in the year 23 of the Meiji era, it served as a government office building when the government was sending pioneers to Hokkaido. This profound historical building has an atmosphere that will give you an unique feeling every time you set foot inside.

As you enter the building, firewood lines the walls where a large and glowing fireplace stands and the aroma of the beer hall welcomes its guests.

16.00 pm: - Riding cable car and sight seeing from Mt. Tengu

Otaru is the hilly city which tells tales of now and past. As it has almost none of flatland except the port area, you will see many slopes while walking. This tour takes you upslope to the top of Mt. Tengu by rope way, you can enjoy one of the three major nightscape of Hokkaido.
The panoramic view and the romantic streetscape of historical buildings lit brightly are just incredible. You will first head for Otaru City from the Sapporo Kita Interchange. Enjoy a walk around Kitaichi Glass and Kitaichi Venezian Museum.
Kitaichi Glass is the historical building built in 1891, which sells colorful glass wares. There is a café “Kitaichi Owl” illuminated with mystical lump where visitors can rest. Near to the Kitaichi Glass, you can drop by the famed sweets shop of Hokkaido such a “Kitakaro(LeTAO)” and Otaru Music Box Museum built half-timbered during Meiji era, which sells lots of orgels collected from over the world.You can hear a unique melody of a big steam clock every 15 minutes in front of the building. Shiroi Koibito Park houses a chocolate factory which brings back fond memories of medieval Britain. You can also visit a gramophone gallery where you can find interests in the beautiful form and material of gramophone.

Shiroi Koibito Park and Central Wholesale Market Bus Tour

See the Hokkaido Shrine, which is located in the western part of the central city. A deeply forested ground of the shrine and its front guard gate create a sacred atmosphere. Proceed to the Ishiya Shiroi Koibito Park, which was set up as an annex to the chocolate factory. Take the family to the chocolate factory and enjoy the collection of chocolate cups from the nineteenth century and see the process of the much-loved cookies ‘ Shiroi Koibito’.
