1.ENTRIES FOR POULTRY, PIGEONS, RABBITS AND CAVIES (Guinea Pigs) CLOSE

WEDNESDAY 16thJULY. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.

2.All exhibits to be ready for judging at 9.30 a.m. Judging commences 10 a.m.

3.No exhibits may be removed before 5 p.m. without the written consent of the

Secretary, and anyone doing so is liable to forfeit any prizes he may be entitled to.

No exhibitor shall remove other than their own exhibits without the consent of the

Secretary.

4.Whilst every possible care willbe taken of the exhibits, the Society will not be responsible for loss, damage, ordetention that may happen to any, either to or from or during the Show.

5.All specimens exhibited must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitors.

6.Any complaints must be made in writing to the Secretary before 3 o’clock on the

day of the Show and must be accompanied by a deposit of £5. In the event of the

complaint being upheld the deposit will be returned.

7.No exhibit in Poultry classes may be entered in more than one class.

8.The Committee reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate any classes if there

are not sufficient entries. This rule will be strictly enforced, but does not apply to

the RABBIT SECTION. The Judge reserves the right to withhold a prize if he

considers the entry not worthy.

9.The Show Committee will not be responsible for birds wrongly classified as a result

of failure to give the desired information.

10.EXHIBITORS’ FREE PASSES. Exhibitors whose entries total £3.00 or more will

receive one admission ticket and an exhibitors vehicle pass on to the showground. Exhibitors

whose entries total £8.00 and over an additional ticket will be issued.

11.No entries will be accepted unless accompanied by the correct fees. Extra tickets can be

purchased at discount prices - Adults £9.00; Senior Citizens £6.00; Children (5-16 yrs) £4.00; Family (2 adults & 3 children) £25.00.

12.PRIZE MONEY will be paid out on Show Day at 4.45 p.m.

Attention of exhibitors is drawn to the Fowl Pest (Infected Areas Restrictions) Order

in respect of the movement of Live Poultry. Exhibitors are advised to contact their

local Authority as to whether movement is permitted.
