Old Business
· Review and approve August Board Meeting Minutes
· Discuss hits/misses at August Membership Meeting
· KYSHRM Conference
o Thanks to Gina Mitchell for representing OSHRM at the State Council Luncheon on 8/29
New Business
SHRM amended charters of all SHRM-affiliated State Councils and Chapters to explicitly define current geographical service areas. Corbett signed for OSHRM.
SHRM-CP and SCP Certification app for iPhone and Android coming in early 2017
· App will auto-fill for SHRM-hosted programs. Spanish exam is forthcoming.
Chapter Promotion Email Program launches in 2016
· Chapter may request to send two emails per year; promoting chapter membership and an event of the chapter’s choice to at-large members.
· Program provides access to SHRM’s at-large community
Give50 Club
· SHRM Foundation celebrates its 50th Anniversary!
· Encouraging members to give $50 to launch a new annual academic scholarship with a $10,000 award for an HR professional who has faced a personal or professional road block and who has used that opportunity to propel their career forward.
