· We have now partnered with E-Card ID Products Ltd. to put a system in place to have students use their ID cards to pay for printing and copying
· This is a pin-based card
· The student system is in place now and then the staff and faculty system will follow
· Some older cards will have to be updated – security is working on this now
· Problem – there was no notice issued to students so they were not prepared for scanning their cards – now communicating with students
· Instructions will be posted
· Chris and Kim in the library will look after putting money on the student cards – this will be on-line down the road
· Madison Food and the bookstore will eventually be on the cards
· Jo-Anne mentioned that it will pose a problem with faculty as they only have one printer so it will create line-ups for printing jobs
· Immediate problems – dial 7777
