Original Norse Myth Story
Due: Friday March 7th, 2008
· Start with a proverb in mind. Use one of the proverbs that we discussed in class.
· Use the names of Norse characters/places/items to write an original story. You should write your story in keeping with the individual character’s roles/personalities and the importance of the places and items. You must use at least:
o 2 characters
o 1 place
o 1 item
· Story should be approximately 250-500 words in length.
· The proverb does not need to be stated outright at the end of the story but can rather be implied. Please do write the proverb at the top of the first page of your story.
· Story should be typed, double-spaced, and in 12 pt. font Times Roman. Make sure to include your name, class period, and date in the upper left-hand corner.
· Give your story a fitting title.
· Spelling and punctuation will be graded
