Awareness / -Identify the term of “indigenous peoples”; ensure everyone understands ethnic minority = IP

-Print & publish document for awareness raising in IP language
-Integrate activities on awareness raising into local cultural events
-Ensure sufficient funding for awareness raising activities

Consultation / -Stakeholders: govt, donors, WB, with the monitoring of IP representatives -> group of IPs drawn from all over the country; serves as feedback mechanism - providing feedback from IPs to stakeholders
-Consultation mechanism - Implemented at various levels; avoid consulting too many stakeholders; periodically (once a month)
-Respect knowledge & desires/preferences of IPs re: REDD+ implementation (ensure ideas are incorporated in strategies, etc – use what is given)
-FCPF can support between IPs and govt; / -Respect knowledge & desires/preferences of IP (ensure ideas are incorporated in strategies, etc – use what is given)
-Discussion with NGO; sharing the process of building policies; include civil society
-Invite various stakeholders (different agencies—e.g. youth, women, etc) to join; implementation in the long term; multiple times
-Govt and other orgs play an active (collect and use information from consultation process) role in consulting with IPs; to get more info and share more info -> people can put their ideas in website
Representation / -IPs to participate in FCPF processes

-System-based approach at various levels for policy-making (govt -> province -> district -> commune -> communities)
