Order-Entry Keyboard Shortcuts

The order entry screens contain keyboard shortcuts that can make order-entry more efficient. You will see labels throughout the application that include an underlined letter.

If the label is on a button or menu, you can press ALT+ UNDERLINED LETTER to take that action

Add Order.

- If in the process of entering order details, this reactivates the Add Order

window.
ALT+ E / When navigating through a group of orders, moves you to the next required missing detail.

ALT+ I

/ On the Orders Profile window, opens the Orders for Signature window.
On the Orders for Signature window, Signs orders.

ENTER

/ Selects an order in the Add Order window.
Up & Down keyboard arrows / When an orderable is selected, a dotted gray box will surround it and the orderable name will appear in the search field: the up and down arrows will then scroll to the previous or next orders in the list area.
- If no orders are selected in the list, the user will have to use their mouse to click in the list area before the arrows will scroll.

ALT+ Down Arrow / When navigating through order details, moves you to the next required missing detail within that order, not between orders.
ALT+ Up Arrow / When navigating through order details, moves you to the previous required missing detail, within that order, not between orders.
CTRL + Page down / When navigating through orders on the Orders for Signature Profile, moves you to the next order.
CTRL + Page up / When navigating through orders on the Orders For Signature Profile, moves you to the previous order.
CTRL + Down Arrow / When navigating through order details, moves you to the next order detail.
CTRL + Up Arrow / When Navigating through order details, moves you to the previous order detail.
