This Options Form is your way of telling us how you want to “craft” the tour to get the most from it, both personally and professionally. To get started, open the latest copy of the itinerary and follow along.

Scheduled Activities and Events

Unless indicated otherwise on the itinerary, attendance at the following activities and events is required for tour members who are participating on the Linden Tour:

• Country Briefing

• University Fairs

• Linden Meetings

School Visits

Please refer to the Key Schools and Agencies section on the web site for a description of the school and notes from previous visits. It is important to remember that if you sign up for a visit, you need to honor that commitment. Counselors publicize the list of universities that are confirmed for the visit, and the students are expecting you.

School Presentations

Counselors often ask Linden Tour members to give presentations to prospective students during a school visit. All presentations are scheduled in advance, and all tour members are encouraged (but not required) to present. For more information, see “Preparing a Presentation” on the web site under Professional Activities.

Optional Cultural Activities

We are hoping to include a visit to the Panda Reserve in Chengdu, and to attend a performance with Chinese acrobats in Shanghai. If you choose to participate, we will bill you separately.
