Attachment no. 1 – Unloading / loading 350_R1B

Attachment no. 1 – Unloading / loading 350_R1B

Comprehensive performance of loading and unloading catalyst on isomerization unit – 350_R1B.

General assumptions:

  1. All operations with the catalyst will be carried out under nitrogen.
  1. Catalyst has to be loaded by dense loading method (about 50m3). Contractor provides dense loading machine and certified operator. Contractor also provides unloading nozzle and endoscope camera for internal inspection of reactor 350_R1B.
  1. Performance of the work as described is planned in two shifts, one shift-12h.
  1. Estimated date of operation: September - October 2017. About final date of commencement of the handling Contractor will be informed in 2 weeks in advance.
  1. Apart from the basic criterion of a low flat price, ordering party will be reward the short time of whole operation. Contractor should provide a schedule of all work including 4h video camera inspection. The initial status is assumed to be: The installation will not be stopped, the reactor will be separated from the process by the blinds, hydrocarbons and hydrogen will be removed from the reactor. Reactor will be cooled andpurged with nitrogen. Manhole (upper elbow) will be dismantled.
  1. The fresh catalyst for the exchange will be stored in a tent at installation 350 or close to the unit.
  1. The reactor has one bed. 350R1AB General arrangement drawing and loading diagram from 2009 are attached.
  1. The contractor should arrive to GL S.A at least 16 hours prior to commencement of work, in order to attend 3hour OSH training, obtain passes and introduce the vehicles necessary for the execution.
  1. The contractor will provide, at least one week before scheduled handling, in electronic form: personal data of the employees and vehicles (which are necessary for handling) - in order to obtain a pass.
  1. GL S.A reserves the right to introduce breaks in the catalyst loading in the event of bad weather conditions.
  1. GL S.A provides:

- crane with operator;

- forklift with operator;

- empty drums;

- loading table for the top of reactor;

- sealed catalyst loading system equipment;

- compressed air, nitrogen, electricity.

Work to be carried out by the Contractor:

Step 1 – catalyst unloading:

  1. Mobilization of team and equipment.
  1. Catalyst unloading from reactor R1B:

A) Opening a manway in distribution tray.

B) Dumping upper ceramic balls with the catalyst by unloading nozzles. The contractor provides unloading nozzles. The contractor fills the drums, closes them, weighs them and describes. Polybags are provided by the contractor.

C) Removing ceramic balls from the bottom of the reactor.

3. Cleaning tray and interior of the reactor.

Step 2 - internal inspection - 4h.

The contractor will inspect the reactor with an endoscope camera in a nitrogen atmosphere at locations clearly indicated by the GLA. If there is need contractor clean surface of the reactor’s wall to the test condition. Reactor walls will be tested from a ladder (provided by the contractor). The contractor provides an endoscope camera for inspection.

Stage 3 - catalyst loading.

1. Mobilization of team and equipment.

2. 350_R1B catalyst loading:

A) Loadingceramic balls on the reactor bottom with sleeve.

B) Catalyst loading dense loading.

Contractor’s employees are responsible for all preparatory and assisting work, including:

- preparation of drums: opening drum (contractor provides screwdriver and other required tools), installation of barrel barrel with opening.

- fastening the drums on the crane rope;

- cooperation with the operator of the crane during transport of drum to the top of the reactor;

- pick up the drum with the catalyst, place on the loading table;

- opening polybag and pouring contents of the drum to the hopper (sealed catalyst loading system equipment). Contractor is responsible for the speed and quality of the catalyst loading.

C) Loadingceramic balls on the top of reactor with sleeve.

3. Mantling manway in distribution tray.

4. Cleaning distribution tray.

5. Demobilization of team and equipment from the 350 unit.
