We are updating our churchdirectory system. If you are new and have not yet given your contact information, or have moved or changed numbers or emails in the past couple years, please contact Marlee at the office at 642-8060 or .
RiverCross is looking for a Chinese Outreach Pastor who will help us minister to our current Chinese community, help us better integrate our Chinese community into the life of our larger church, and help our entire congregation better minster to the Chinese community in Greater Saint John. We have been searching for a candidate for over a year and would ask for your prayers. We are in conversations with a candidate and that candidate is now discerning God’s direction as to whether they are being called to RiverCross. Please join us in prayer, asking for God’s will to be done. Thank you.
Hey RiverCross, we want to know what you know about missions! The Missions Committee invites you to take our 5 minute survey via the link at one of the following: or the RiverCross Facebook page. You can do this on your own or as a fun Life Group activity. Printed copies of the survey are also available at the Welcome Centre. The survey will only be accessible until the end of May - so please complete it now. And remember: only complete it once - to make sure we don't skew the results. Thank you for taking an interest in Missions!
Our Summer Children & Youth Program calendar can be accessed online at our website or on our summer Facebook page: Info and registration for exciting things like our Fun Factory camp July 10-14 and Basketball Camp August 14-18 can be found there!
50+ Group Everyone loves a great BBQ, but add to that a beach party and Strawberry Shortcake, and you have a mighty good time! Monday, May 29th at 6:30 pm here at RiverCross, the 50+ group will be meeting for a great time together. Please sign up at the Welcome Centre today if you are able to come. Cost for the event is 7 dollars a person. There’s still time to sign up!
Friendly Fellowship will meet on June 1st at 11 am at RiverCross Mission. Great food, great fellowship and lots of Fun. Plan to attend our last Senior's event before the summer break.
Celebration Sunday, June 4th: Next Sunday, we'll be led in worship by people involved with our Community Outreach ministries here at RiverCross Church. These worship services are always one of the highlights of our church year - so you won't want to miss it! Please plan to come, and then drive down to RiverCross Mission at 211 Main Street in the Old North End for our annual BBQ with the neighbours. We often get 600 people at this wonderful event which features live music, fun games for the kids, and great party food. The BBQ begins at 12 Noon and will proceed rain or shine.
Treble Clef proudly presents “Maritime Memories and More - Celebrating Canada 150” on June 5th 7:00pm at RiverCross Church, 61 Forbes Drive. Tickets are $12 and available from members, at the door or by calling Darlene at 633-0114. We look forward to seeing you!
“Change for Jesus” is how we raise money to support our Community Outreach summer camp ministry. We typically raise enough money to send nearly 30 people, including several families, to Camp Tulakadik. This is quite remarkable, considering the sponsorship cost is over $300 per person! As we gear up again to send children, youth, and families from the North End to camp, take some time to search your house high and low for all the change you can find – then bring it to church, since the “Change” campaign is now underway and runs through to the last week in May. We will also gratefully receive cheques for larger amounts of money too - including full camp sponsorships. Thank You!
