OFFICIAL NOTICE !!!

Effective immediately Ocean Explorers, our students, customers and friends are no longer participating in the current global economic slowdown. We have had enough! Birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim, and divers gotta dive! So that’s just what we’re doing
Here is a list of dive events for the Spring and Summer:
MAY3-10 we will be in Bonaire. Always rated one of the best dive destinations in the Caribbean. Large schools of fish, seahorses, frogfish and unlimited beach diving make this a perfect place for U/W photos. We stay at thePlaza Resort. We have the direct flight from Newark to Bonaire.
MAY 23-26, over the Memorial Day weekend we will be going back to the Florida Keys. If you missed the November trip here’s your chance to join us.
JULY3-5 will take us to the Graveyard of the Atlantic. Our annual Wreck Diving trip to North Carolina. Start your collection of Sand Tiger Shark teeth.
AUGUST 2 Underwater Treasure Hunt @ Dutch Springs to raise money for MDA and Jerry’s Kids.
AUGUST 8 &9 Another weekend inNorth Carolina.
AUGUST 29 & 30 That’s right, a third trip toNorth Carolina. We told you we’re going diving.
SEPTEMBER 4-6 St. Lawrence Seaway Freshwater diving on very old wrecks.
SEPTEMBER 4-6 Ride to the Wrecks This year’s ride is to the St. Lawrence Seaway.
JANUARY 23-30, 2001 Survivor Costa Rica. Once again we will be wrangling wild broncos, leaping off 100’ cliffs, attempting land speed records on ATV’s, challenging the dreaded Devil Fish, and braving the scalding volcanic waters of the jungle hot springs. If you have the “Right Stuff” sigh up for this adventure.

We have been having great success with a new camera from Olympus. The “Tough 8000” is a 10 megapixel digital that is actually waterproof to a depth of 33’. In it’s compact U/W housing it can go to 132’. Check out the Photo Gallery page on our web site. Also, look into our next U/W Digital Photography class on Monday, May 18.

We brought in 2 new diving books: “Shore Diving “ and the “Top 40 Shore Dives in New Jersey.” We have some great dives from the beaches, inlets and rivers around the state. Come in and check them out.

Would you like to customize your Scubapro S600 second stage? We have colored purge covers in Red, Blue and Pink. Get yours while they last.

SOMETHING ENTIRELY NEW FOR OE.

How would you like to visit the biggest state in the Union? That’s right Alaska. As some of you may know Donna was living in Alaska when we met. We still have friends living there. One is in the tourism business. We are in the process of planning a dive/adventure trip for next Summer. We’ll take you to see bears, eagles, orca, sea otters, moose, caribou and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. And oh yes, a day or two of diving if you would like. If you think this sounds like something that would interest you let us know. We’ll put you on the list for updates.
