· There have been a lot of questions/discussions on vascular access on the communities. This is perfect timing since the new Access Device Standards of Practice for Oncology Nursing was just released within the past week or so.

Congress 2017
There will be a community network area that will be community themed (i.e. picnic tables, benches, etc.). It will be located between the electronic posters and exhibit hall. The session schedule is being finalized and information will be emailed to those communities who requested to hold a networking session at Congress 2017. The community network area schedule will be promoted in the Congress materials. We can also include in the events area of those community sites.
There will be promotional material located at the ONS Booth with non-clinical conversation starters/cards with a peel-off area that will include a question that can help start a conversation.
D. Scheuring and K. Walsh will support the Community roundtables – which is different than the networking area. This is an area that will be available to Congress attendees to ask questions about the communities and walk through the site and ask questions. If any of the community champions are available – they are also welcome to participate in the scheduled times.
For those communities who requested a web-based session – we will be following up with them individually for any questions.
