The Board of the Nine Mile Falls School District No. 325-179 passed Resolution # 2-05 concerning this proposition. This proposition authorizes the District to update and make safety improvements to Nine Mile Falls and Lake Spokane Elementary Schools, make safety, site and field improvements, and expand and update science, performing arts, and physical fitness instructional space at Lakeside High School, issue $13,300,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum term of 20 years, and levy property taxes annually, in addition to regular tax levies, to repay such bonds, all as provided in Resolution # 2-05. The Board of Directors of Medical Lake School District No. 326 adopted Resolution No. 04-05.04, concerning a proposition to finance school construction. This proposition would authorize the District to construct a new elementary school (Grades K-3) and additional classrooms (to replace portable classrooms) and new gymnasium at Medical Lake Middle School; issue no more than $12,700,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within 26 years; and levy annual excess property taxes to pay and retire the bonds, all as provided in Resolution No. 04-05.04.
