BALLARAT HIGH SCHOOL SECONDHAND BOOK EXCHANGE 2013/2014
Ballarat High School is pleased to again offer parents/students the opportunity to sell text books to other families, and to buy second-hand books at discounted prices.
SELLING BOOKS
• Please check book lists carefully and only sell what you don’t need next year.
• Only the books listed below can be submitted for sale.
• A 20% commission is retained by the school to cover operating expenses. This is a not-for-profit service to our families.
• Books remaining unsold and no longer current to the curriculum will be donated to charity.
• Books not to an acceptable standard will not be sold.
• To submit books:
o Complete all details on this form.
o Place this form and books in a secure plastic bag.
o Bring to Room AD2 (main building) before school or lunchtime.
o All books can be handed in from Monday 2nd December, 2013.
o Last day to submit books for sale, Friday 6th December, 2013.
• Family sales proceeds will be credited to Family Statements, which may then be utilised on your authorisation.
BUYING BOOKS
• Sales dates are as follows:
o Year 7 in 2014 Tuesday 10th December, 2013.
§ Operating Hours are strictly 9.30am to 4.00pm.
o Year 8 9 in 2014 Wednesday 11th December, 2013.
§ Operating hours are strictly 9.30am to 4.00pm.
o Year 10, 11, 12 in 2014 Thursday 12th December, 2013.
§ Operating hours are strictly 9.30am to 4.00pm.
• Sales of both second-hand uniform and books will be located in the Robinson
Centre – Theatre.
• Payments must be made on the day by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card.
• Tax Invoice/Receipts will be issued
