Online Course Selection Instructions

*IMPORTANT* Prior to accessing the online course selection site, please complete the Course Selection form included in your registration packet. This will assist you when selecting courses in the online system. We will collect the signed Course Selection form from each student as a means to ensure that both parents and student have been involved in the course selection process.

All students should submit their course selection online prior to the return visit by the Interlake counselors if at all possible. The registration pick up dates are as follows:

1)  From your home computer or a school computer, go to https://myclass.bsd405.org

2)  Students, log in using your BSD computer account username and password. This is the same username and password that you use to log in to a BSD computer on your Laptop, or in the library or lab.

3.) Courses are listed under the subject areas to the left. Click ‘R’ to make a regular request, and ‘A’ to make an alternate request.

Students should select at least 1.0 credit of alternates for Elective classes, but no more than 3.0 credits of alternates. It is not necessary to request alternates for Math, Science, Social Studies, English and World Language classes.

4.) Your selected courses and credit totals will appear to the right. Required courses by grade (ex. Health) and/or program (ex.

Gifted AP World History) have been pre- assigned and will show in your course Selections.

All students must select 7.0 credits. For the purposes of online course selection only, Travel Period and Open Period will show as a credited course.

7.) You may choose ‘Save’ when you are finished if you want to keep your current selections but have questions and/or need to work on it with your counselor. Choose ‘Turn In’ if you are completely done and want to submit your requests. You cannot ‘Turn In’ your requests unless you have selected 7 credits.
