Camp

One week to go. Please ensure you have gone on line and completed the medical details that Lake Ainsworth requires. Please contact the school ASAP if you cannot get this done.

Students will need to be at the school by 6.45am next Wednesday 28th October to leave the school at 7am promptly. We will return to Wallangarra School on Friday afternoon at approximately 3.30-4pm QT. Students will be given a special hat that can be worn on camp. This will alleviate the need for any other hat to be taken and these hats can just be easily put into the bag. Those students in Year 6 who are leaving us at the end of the year may keep the hat. Those students in year 5 must return the hat to the school as they will use it again next year. It will be cleaned and stored. These hats are not for everyday use at school. Maximum amount of money to be taken is $30. There will be limited places to spend this, so it would just be for a drink/icecream etc.

Playgroup

Playgroup will begin this Friday at Wallangarra State School for all children from birth to pre prep. This is being run by Tully De Vries in conjunction with Bush Children’s. Please consider coming along and supporting the playgroup. It is for 2 hours from 9am-11am each Friday unless otherwise notified for the rest of this term. If successful it will continue into next year.

Break up day

Due to unforeseen circumstances Reward day and Break up day in the last week of school have yet to be decided. The pool in Warwick is booked up on the day that we usually go so we are unable to take the students there. We will keep you informed when it is organised.
