With the arrest of one bootlegger and recovery of 30 Cartons each containing 48 quarters of country made liquor and five Katta each containing 96 quarters of country made liquor, (Total = 1440+480=1920 Quarters), Police Officials of PS Uttam Nagar exhibited high degree of professional competence in the above said case.

1. FIR No. 275/14 Dated 15/3/2014 U/s 33 Delhi Excise Act PS Uttam Nagar Delhi
INFORMATION/OPERATION
On 15.3.2014 an information was received to HC Hari Ram No. 464/W and Ct Than Singh No. 848/W from a secret informer that Saroj w/o Sanjay R/o D-33, Om Vihar, Phase-5, Uttam Nagar Delhi has procured a huge quantity of illicit liquor at her residence. On receipt of this information immediately a raid was conducted under the supervision of the SHO/Uttam Nagar, Inspr. Bhagwan Singh and 30 Cartoons each containing 48 quarters of country made liquor and five Katta each containing 96 quarters of country made liquor = 1440+480=1920 Quarters) of illicit liquor were seized from her residence. On sustained interrogation the accused disclosed that she bought this liquor from Haryana border for selling at higher prices in Delhi during Holi.
Police personnel involved in the good work are being rewarded suitably.

RECOVERIES

WORKED OUT CASE
1. FIR NO. 189/14 dated 15/03/14 U/S 33/38 Delhi Excise Act PS Ranhola Delhi.
INFORMATION/OPERATION
On 15.03.14 at about 6.15 PM Ct. Virender No. 3335/W, during patrolling found Nagina @ Meena along with her husband Ram Khiladi transferring plastic bags inside her house from a heap of plastic bags lying in front of her house. Though, the husband of the accused fled from the spot after seeing the local police. On checking 13 plastic bags containing a total 1260 Quarters of illicit liquor were recovered from the spot.
The details of seized illicit liquor is as under: -
1. Three(03) plastic bags, each containing 96 Quarters of illicit liquor (Bagpiper Whisky) of 180 ML each having labels of “for sale in Haryana only”.
2. Four(04) plastic bags, each containing 96 Quarters of illicit liquor (NV Group Besto Whisky) of 180 ML each having labels of “for sale in Arunachal Pradesh only”.
3. Three(03) plastic bags, each containing 96 Quarters of illicit liquor (Party Special Deluxe Whisky) of 180 ML each having labels of “for sale in Arunachal Pradesh only”.
4. Three(03) plastic bags, each containing 100 Quarters of illicit liquor (Rasila Santra Masaledar Deshi Sharab) of 180 ML each having labels of “for sale in Haryana only”.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 189/14 dated 15/03/14 U/S 33/38 Delhi Excise Act PS Ranhola Delhi was registered in this matter.
INTEROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDAI
During investigation of this case, accused Nagina @ Meena w/o Ram Khiladi R/o 19, Gali No. 5, Sainik Enclave, Mohan Garden, Delhi has been arrested. Efforts are being made to arrest the husband of Nagina @ Meena i.e. Ram Khiladi. During interrogation Nagina @ Meena has disclosed that they had purchased the seized liquor from Bahadurgarh, Haryana.

INCIDENT ,TEAM & OPERATION
On 15.03.14 at about 5.00 PM Ct. Zile Singh No. 3318/W along with Ct. Manish No. 2935/W apprehended Mohd. Monish S/o Mohd. Intzar R/o MA-6, Near UP Dairy, Vikas Nagar, Delhi in suspicious condition at Verma Road, Vikas Nagar, Delhi while patrolling in the area. On frisking, one illicit fire arm (8 MM bore katta) and three live cartridges of 8 MM were recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case FIR no. 188/14 dated 15/03/14 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Ranhola Delhi has been registered in this regard. On sustained interrogation he confessed to have committed robbery in the area of PS Ranhola along with his associates in the below mentioned cases: -

2. FIR NO. 122/14 DATED 20/02/14 U/S 392/394/34 IPC PS RANHOLA DELHI

TWO NOTORIOUS SNATCHERS ARRESTED
The staff of PS Hari Nagar has arrested two notorious snatchers and recovered one Samsung Galaxy grand mobile phone & one red color Scooty No. DL-3CD 6321 used in the commission of crime.
NAME & PROFILE OF ACCUSED
1. Hardeep Singh S/o Harender Pal Singh R/o WZ-44/1 Gali no. 13, Krishna Park Extn. Tilak Nagar, Delhi, Age-20 Yrs. He has studied up to 12th class.
2. Amanjeet Singh S/o Ajeet Singh R/o WZ-18, Plot no. 24, Vishnu Park Tilak Nagar, Delhi, Age-33 Yrs has studied up to 12th Class. He is married. He used to work on contract with the architect and specialized in aluminum work. But for the last 5-6 months he was unemployed.
RECOVERY
1. One Samsung Galaxy Grand Mobile Phone.
2. One red color Scooty bearing No. DL-3CD 6321 used in the commission of crime.
INCIDENT ,TEAM & OPERATION
On 14/03/2014 complainant Ms. Gurpreet Kaur reported that while she was going back to her home two persons came on a red color scooty and snatched her Samsung Grand Mobile Phone and fled away. On her complaint a case vide FIR No. 297/14 U/S 356/379/34 IPC P.S. Hari Nagar was registered and investigation was taken up.
In order to apprehend the criminals involved in the incident, a team led by Inspr. Bhaskar Sharma, SHO/Hari Nagar under close supervision of Sh. Samay Singh, ACP/TN was constituted. Preliminary investigation revealed that the above mentioned accused persons namely Hardeep Singh and Amandeep Singh after committing the incident of snatching were chased by the passerby. Though, they managed to escape with Mobile phone, but left their scooty bearing No. DL-3CD 6321 at the place of incident. The address of the scooty was confirmed from the control room. Raids were conducted to nab the accused persons. Finally, On 16/03/14 due to sustained efforts of the staff both the accused persons (1) Hardeep Singh S/o Harender Pal Singh R/o WZ-44/1 Gali No. 13, Krishna Park Extn. Tilak Nagar, Delhi, Age-20 Yrs. and (2) Aman Jeet Singh S/o Ajeet Singh R/o WZ-18, Plot No. 24, Vishnu Park Tilak Nagar, Delhi, Age-33 Yrs were arrested from WZ-30 Keshopur Village and the snatched Samsung Galaxy Grand Mobile, White Color was recovered from the possession of accused Hardeep.
Interrogation:
During interrogation, accused persons confessed to have committed the crime. They disclosed that they were in need of money to meet their extravagant expenses and thus they snatched the mobile phone to meet the same.

Ø Interstate wildlife trafficking Gang busted with the arrest of a poacher.
Ø Two uncured skins of Leopard recovered.
INTRODUCTION:-
Crime branch has busted an interstate gang involved in wildlife trafficking with the arrest of one Lokpal s/o Sh. Krishan Chand r/o Vill- Thana, PO-Khakhriyana, Distt.- Mandi, Himachal Pradesh and two uncured skins of Leopard have been recovered from his possession.
TEAM AND INCIDENT
On 13.03.2014, a specific information was received by SI Sandeep Yadav of Anti Robbery Cell that one Lokpal is involved in illicit trade of skins and body parts of endangered species and he would come at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar to sell skins of leopards. Immediately, a team comprising of Insp. Kuldeep Singh, SI Sandeep Yadav, HCs Kartar Singh, Surender Rathi, Ajeet, Cts Nitin and Subash was constituted under the close supervision of ACP KPS Malhotra to apprehend the culprit. Inspectors Raja Ram and V. Bharti Dasan of Wildlife Protection department were also called and associated with the raiding party.
A trap was laid at the place of information and accused Lokpal s/o Sh. Krishan Chand r/o Vill- Thana, PO- Khakhriyana, Distt- Mandi, Himachal Pradesh was apprehended from Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar and two uncured skins of leopard were recovered from him.
A case vide FIR No. 27/14 u/s 9,39,49,49B & 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 has been registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard and the accused has been arrested.
Profile:-
Lokpal (44 yrs) s/o Sh. Krishan Chand r/o Vill- Thana, PO-Khakhriyana, Distt.- Mandi, Himachal Pradesh has studied upto 8th standard. He is a driver and also involved in poaching. He is a part of interstate wildlife trafficking gang and details of other gang members as well as their previous involvements are being ascertained.

ABDUCTED GIRL RESCUED BY THE PCR STAFF AFTER A INTENSIVE CHASE.
The staff of Police Control Room has done an excellent work by rescuing girl within half an hour.
BRIEF FACTS/INCIDENT
On 15.03.2014, at 09.47 AM, MPV Libra-14 received a call from control room regarding molestation of girl in silver colour Santro car bearing registration no. DL-4C-AG-3928 at Avantika red light, Sector-3, Rohini, Delhi. On receipt of call, staff of MPV Libra-14 immediately contacted the caller and managed to get the exact location of alleged Santro Car. In the way, they saw alleged Santro Car and it is going towards Sector-24/25, Rohini, Delhi. On confirmation, they started chasing the alleged Santro Car intensively. Staff of MPV Libra-14, continuously chasing the alleged Santro Car and also passing information to the nearby MPVs. The staff of MPV Libra-14 consisting of I/C HC Atul No. 1116/PCR (PIS No. 28930878), G/M Ct. Raj Pal No. 2353/PCR (PIS No. 28060561) and Ct. Dvr. Ajay Kumar No. 4484/PCR (PIS No. 28040006). The Libra-1 Operator ASI Ramesh Kumar No. 1186/Communication (PIS No. 27910211) professionally handle the situation and continuously informed the nearby MPVs and also directed them to keep alert. Meanwhile, at about 09.46 AM, a QST has been flashed from control room regarding kidnapping of a girl in Santro Car bearing no. DL-4C-AG-3928 and they were going towards Prahlad Pur. Control room Operator directed all the MPVs to intercept the vehicle and also directed to conduct the vehicle checking. On receipt of QST, Inspr. Shri Krishan (Tiger-34) immediately alert the 85 MPVs of Outer Zone, PCR, Delhi and also directed them to intercept the alleged Santro Car. On receipt of the QST, staff of MPV Libra-30 made search for the above said Santro Car. At 10.12 AM, staff of MPV Libra-30 and Libra-14 managed to intercept the above mentioned Santro car bearing no. DL-4C-AG-3928 at 80 Futa Road, near Barwala - Rithala road and recovered the kidnapped girl. Staff also managed to apprehend the kidnapper namely Ram Niwas Jindal S/O Manohar Lal R/O B-4/194A, Keshav Puram, Delhi. The staff of MPV Libra-30 consisting of I/C HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 130/PCR (PIS No. 28930423), G/M Ct. Meghraj No. 3303/PCR (PIS No. 28941876), Ct (Dvr) Devender No. 4977/PCR (PIS No. 28106070). After this, staff made a self call to control room i.e. Libra-1 and Libra-2. Meanwhile, Inspr. Vishav Nandan, ATO/PS South Rohini, Outer Distt., Delhi and Tiger-54(Main) ASI Surat Singh No. 5766/PCR and Tiger-34 Inspr. Shri Krishan also reached at the spot. Later on, the recovered girl and kidnapper alongwith Santro Car handed over to Inspr. Vishav Nandan, ATO/PS South Rohini, Outer Distt., Delhi. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 292/14 Dt. 15.03.2014 U/S 365/354-A IPC PS Sultan Puri, Outer Distt., Delhi was got registered. The act of above mentioned police personals is an living example of alertness, dedication and professional attitude. A slight carelessness or lethargic attitude may generate an embarrassing incident but prompt and swift action, presence of mind, dedication and devotion of staff saved the life of a lady.
