November: The Church Thankful

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;His love endures forever.

I Chronicles 16:34

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise;give thanks to Him and praise His name. Psalm 100:4

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to His disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is My body.”27Then He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.28This is My blood of thecovenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26: 26-28

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.16He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him—and he was a Samaritan. Luke 17:15-16

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:18

Where are the other nine?18Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?”19Then He said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well. Luke 17: 11-19

WHY ONE CAME BACK

When someone does something for you, remember to thank them and God for them.

  1. To Come to the One who heals.

Sickness can and does Isolateus.

Sin can and will separate us.

Healing reconnects us to God and others

Get closer and closer to Jesus.

  1. To Worship the One who heals.

Once healed, we acknowledge THE HEALER with glorifying gratitude.

Healing from GOD is so we give Praise to GOD. Say – Praise The Lord!!

God deserves all the praise.

All God’s people… Look Up, Point Up, Head UP

  1. To Express his Gratitude to the One who healed.

When someone does something nice for you, be thankful.

FOUR REASONS WHY:

  1. You are a nice person.
  2. I am a grateful person.
  3. Your are encouraged.
  4. I am humbled.

who healed

  1. To Go Forth for the One who healed.

We hear allkins of stories / testimonies about close encounters. Big Foot ! UFOs!! Angels !!! Elvis !!!!

  • Rise and go
  • Go home to your own people
  • Go and make disciples
  • Go and preach the Gospel
  • You will be My witnesses
  • Always be prepared to give an answer
