Students are going to showcase a glimpse from the life of the great Indian warrior Maharaja Rana Pratap Singh

1. Why the play Rana Pratap?

Maharana Pratap happened to be the first freedom fighter of India who resisted foreign invasion , that is the Mughals

He was a great warrior who taught people rules of warfare based on integrity and valour.

2. What values do we learn from the story?

honesty , respect for women, winning admiration of local people as Rana Pratap got the love of the Bhils a tribe in the jungles of Mewar that supported him.

1. Presentation of the group members and action plan. Part one of the article. 10 October

The team members are going to present themselvelves using a written presentation or a video presentation. For privacy reasons, mention only your first name (not family name), age, hobbies and your ambitions for the future. No privacy details about your family, no emailaddresses. Pictures: one group picture is mandatory. Individual pictures. Be aware that you publish pictures on internet. Format of the TV-show

Length: not too long !!!

In this role play Indian students perform a TV show about some aspects of living the Netherlands .

Dutch students perform a TV show about some aspects of living in India.

Each class will be divided into teams of min. 3 max. and max. 5 students

Final product

1. The show will be recorded and the movie will be uploaded on You Tube or Vimeo and embedded on a Weebly site.

2. Article on Weebly (group intro, brainstorming , peparations, comparison and reflection)

How does a team of students get the information for the show? The project is not a Google project. The students ask their counterparts information about various aspects of living The students respond by sending relevant information (text, pictures, music) to their counterparts.

Indian and Dutch students will be matched in small WhatsApp groups to share information. Groups will be formed according to the relevant topics of the show

Procedure to create Whatsapp groups

Schools from teams

Schools list the topics the teams are interested in and to add names, email and mob. Nrs of the team members (fill in the attached form)

Teams will be matched according to the chosen topics to enable teachers or group leaders to create Whatsapp groups.

The four schools will be matched in two subclusters

Subcluster 1

Vibgyor High School Goreagon & VdPerre.

VdPerre does’n ’t take part in On stage but welcomes Vibg. Students to get information from vd Perre students.

Subcluster 2

Pawar Public School Pune/ Jamnabai Narsee School students & Lyceum Oudehoven

In this project you can show your creativity and a lot of skills (writing, presenting, IT-skills, communicative skills, performing, working together, intercultural skills;.)
