On Joint Motion of All Councilmembers Present, the Following Resolution Was Offered At

On joint motion of all Councilmembers present, the following resolution was offered at the request of Ms. Lee-Sheng:

RESOLUTION NO. 112707

A resolution granting permission to St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 represented by Rev. Andrew Taormina permission to host a 5K Race on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. to allow the sale of beverages, food, have live music and to erect three temporary banners across Metairie Road, 800 Metairie Road at Metairie Village Shopping Center, Bonnabel and Metairie Road intersection and 2918 Metairie Road in front of the Garden Gate and also erect yard signs on the neutral ground of Metairie Road and Bonnabel in connection therewith provided that all necessary permits have been obtained from the Department of Citizens’ Affairs, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Health Department to conduct such event and that all requirements and regulations of said departments are met; and waiving all Jefferson Parish taxes and fees in connection with said event, and to provide for related matters. (Council District 5)

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson Parish Council, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, acting as governing authority for said Parish:

SECTION 1. That permission is hereby granted to St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 represented by Rev.
