SPECIAL EVENTS FOR CABLE AIR SHOW 2016

This year we would like to expand on our community outreach at the air show. We are asking all non-profit groups to have a hands-on display or activity for the young people who attend. Some ideas are; aviation games, color sheets depicting aviation themes, hands-on tools, airplane parts, or instruments and how they work. Some game ideas are; “where on the chart is Amelia Earhart or Charles Lindbergh” and give a list of clues that can be read off a chart, A scavenger hunt for items normally found on an airport (ie tetrahedron, low wing airplane, high-wing airplane, compass rose, beacon, etc). How about making your own paper airplane using wallpaper. We are sure you can come up with your own great ideas.

Of course there has to be prizes. What better way to advertise your organization by having stickers, business cards, or flyers. You can attach stickers, candy or other small prize items to them.

Please let us know what you are planning to do by November 1, 2015 so we can make a list to publicize the event. The announcer will be mentioning these games & activities and where they can be found. This means free publicity for your organization.

Thank you for your support. We are looking ahead to a fun-filled weekend for our community with lots to see and do.
