SENIORS:
1) Seniors need to return your pink Parchment form ASAP. Transcripts will not be processed until those are turned in.
2) Seniors, Did you miss the BRCC meeting? Stop by to see Mrs. Wangler to pick up important information on the application process.
STUDENTS:
1) Students interested in spending a day at the Governor’s School: the sign up sheets are available. Please see your counselor as soon as possible. This is for 10th and 11th graders.
2) The Envirothon will be meeting everyMondayandThursdayat 3:15 in the library until further notice. Please feel free to stay after and participate.
3) Attention all students that plan to attend PROM: Augusta Cleaners in Waynesboro gives SDHS money for every dress that is purchased and every Tuxedo that is rented to be used toward our After Prom Party. SO....if you plan to attend Prom and need something to wear PLEASE check them out!!
4) Drama Members: The CUPID’S KISSES AND DESSERT THEATER is Feb. 13. If you would like to help see Mrs. Bussey, Ben Josephson, Gabby Patarinski or Julia Bussey. We need actors, singers and desserts.

1) CONGRATULATIONS to the JV and Varsity Boys Basketball on their wins over Buffalo Gap last night!
2) Softball open gym will be on the field today from 3:45 – 5:15.
3) GOOD LUCK to the Wrestling team as they travel to Waynesboro tonight! GOOD LUCK also to Varsity Girls as they take on Buffalo Gap here at the Draft tonight at 6:30. It is Senior night!

1) 2017-18 Governor’s School applications are now available on the SVGS website. The deadline is Feb. 20.
COLLEGE VISITS:
All college visits are held during Cougar Return and is open for all Juniors & Seniors. This is an excellent opportunity for all interested students to ask questions and learn more about the application process, student life, courses for students and much more!! This is also an excellent way to make the great first impression on the admissions counselors of the college you are interested in applying to.
Students must request a pass from Mrs. Halterman in the Counseling Office to attend the visit. Passes are to be requested the week prior to the visit and NO passes will be issued the day of the visit.

UPCOMING VISITS – OPEN TO JUNIORS AND SENIORS:
