Do you have any food allergies or special food needs (i.e. vegetarian or vegan)?

Are you allergic to bees that you know of? If so, do you carry and Epi Pen?

Are you able to walk long distances? Do you have any limitations that would make walking on trails or in fields difficult for you?

Does the heat of summer bother you? We spend a lot of time outdoors, much of it under our pavilion or choosing areas in the shade. However, there are times when we are harvesting or doing activities around the farm that will be in the sun. Please share any thoughts if this is a big concern for you.

Would you be interested in some field trips on days other than our Whole Living Class dates that would be related to what we are studying? This will not be a class requirement. In past classes, we had groups that showed interest in visiting places of interest that related to what we were studying. This would be optional if it happens at all.

Please feel free to add any additional comments, thoughts, concerns, ideas or interests etc. either by writing on another paper or calling Krista (540) 967-1165.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

We make many hands on items in this summer course so that you can build your own medicine chest for your personal use. We also make many foods, personal care items, and natural cleaning products. Forrest Green Farm will supply all the things necessary for you to make the items. That is what the material fee covers for the class. However, we will make many types of fresh tinctures this summer from plants on the farm. Due to legal considerations, we ask that you supply your own alcohol for these tinctures. We recommend that you bring a bottle (1.75 liter) to the first class of either 100 proof Vodka (locally we have found Aristocrat brand Vodka) OR 80 proof brandy (locally we have found E& J Brandy). The bottles will be labeled with your name and can be kept at the farm for all future use in classes.
